I would ask the doctor’s office for a tour and to meet with the doctor in person. I did that for one place that I was going to consider.
Since this will be your second UFE, what particles did your doctor use for your first UFE? I only know of PVA Contour by Boston Scientific and Embosphere Microspheres. The first is made of polyvinyl alcohol and the other is made of tris-acryl gelatin. Does it matter if you use two different types of particles to embolize?
Regardless it sounds like you have done enough research and you are prepared.
Best of luck with your second UFE.❤
I have my initial consultation with an Interventional Radiologist (2nd doctor that I’ve researched) at a hospital for my UFE later this week. 😬

You're right, that is a good idea!I will ask to see the main office as well as the satellite location where the procedure will be done (they offer other locations if they are closer to you). He mentioned the particles were smaller, more intense and more precise than what my interventional radiologist used. I wrote it down and now I can't read my own handwriting! When I had UFE the first time, they used Embozene. I was told it is a material similar to contact lenses, but I don't know whether it matters if you use two different types of particles to embolize. That is a very good question! I just learned something new from you. You are indeed very prepared for your procedure. Good luck with everything! Let me know if you have any questions or just need some moral support!

Just check calcium levels and if needed take Vitamin D shots. Vitamin D shots helps reduce fibroids

Thank you, I will look into that! My Vitamin D level was lower before UFE, but I take supplements. I will look into the shots too.
