    Amazing vlog. Truly impressed by your work and by this adventure. Can’t wait to see what you do next! You can really do great things if you grow in this space.

    Nice new train. We‘ve travelled with the old ones many times. The comfort, especially the toilets are much better now. But most important are the new tracks and extensions with a second track. No bumping amymore, arrilval on time. We love that! With the cost don‘t forget the fares for taxi or train to the airport and you‘ll save one stay in a hotel. Greetings from Germany. Wish we could be there now…

      Thanks for watching! Yes it was a very comfortable experience and that is true you do save on a few things by taking a train rather than flying! ☺️

    Hi, may i ask is the food is per-ordered or only depends on the random vendor that comes up from station to stations? Thanks

    • @InvictusTravel
      @InvictusTravel  Год назад +1

      hello! sure thing, there is a restaurant on the train that you can go to and order nice food from but it's a bit expensive otherwise yes there are vendors who will come to the train and their food isn't as nice as the restaurant but it's much cheaper 😊

      hello, of course! yes you will be able to bring a large suitcase on the train, there is room underneath your seat/bed where it will fit 👌

    Can anyone please advise me how to purchase 1st class tickets in advance / online? My searches only lead to sites like 12GO that offer 2nd class tickets. Will be traveling from Ayutthaya to Chaing Mai in November. Many thanks.

      Hey bro I hope this helps. Here is the link to the main site.
      www.thailandtrains.com/buy-train-ticket-from-ayutthaya-to-chiang-mai/
      If you try to buy a ticket from here it redirects you to 12GO because thats where you buy the tickets online in thailand. Its best to buy your ticket in person from the station as its cheaper and you can pick exactly what you want. I think the reason you cant find any first class seats is because there is no first class train from Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai. Most long-distance trains in Thailand offer second-class air-conditioned sleeper cabins and seats, which are comfortable for overnight journeys and thats what I showed in this video. While they might not be first-class, the second-class sleepers are quite popular among travelers. Bangkok to Chiang Mai offers first-class trains.

    what was the name of the hotel?

    The first secret in sleeping on a train lies in taking a sleeping tablet. The second secret is to take a thermos flask along with sachets of coffee, hot chocolate and tea since you can always get boiling water on a train. Ear plugs help as well.

    As an American, I hear travel insurance companies won't cover if you travel to Hat Yai. Is this true?

    • @InvictusTravel
      @InvictusTravel  Год назад
