Amazing that something like this is free to start with. Somehow, your excellent teaching and superior communications skills have made a lifelong dream of writing and producing a reality for quite a few of us. I'm so lucky that you have sort of fallen into the roll of Professor - and hence becoming the Godfather of some incredibly well produced home studio music from solo singers and songwriters. Thanks, Mike Cheers!!
I love Arturia instruments. I brought Pigments a couple of years back when I was working. I can't afford the whole package so to be able to have a free instrument is brilliant. Also came across your channel today Mike. Love it.
The first to make a video on Studio One's 6.5 ATMOS... and now first on this by Arturia. You rule Mike. Strings and the sweet progression is my favorite. Thanks for the info!
friend who's been playing pianos and synths for decades says: "we have more than enough sounds, it's just up to you to combine them to make your own signature sounds" - and I gotta agree, that's precisely what Arturia should encourage with Analog Lab Play :)
To answer my own question, you just need to update Analog Labs and you'll get access to the new libraries, however, they aren't with you main installed libraries but rather to the left of the search bar. Hit the X and then the little books to scroll through them.
I have both Arturia Analog Lab 4 and V installed here and I always use them when I need a synth sound. They are my favorites. The Brass wind was the one I was looking for, so this is the one I prefer from your video. Thank you again! Regards from Rio
As always, sir, you come up with valuable information, and for this I humbly bow before thee. As far as the favorite, Haruto's Mystic Split drew me in. Please continue to provide us with your never ending wealth of knowledge, along with your guidance on the possibilities of the myriad of available products you recommend.
Your mission is successful. Like your channel and your simple approach for creating music for both armatures and professionals. I recently downloaded Piano Time on a touch sensitive Windows 10 laptop. The keyboard works wonderfully but has only a couple of presets. I was hoping the keyboard would act more like an interface to other synths or presets out there. Sadly no. Any recommendations? New subscriber...
After a second listen, I'm even less sure which one is my favorite! LOL At first I was going with the American Grand Piano, but really like the Vibrato Strings and I know I'll use the Teenage Fugue, even though I'm sneaking up on 75.
I downloaded , installed and could not start it . I have 3 versions of Analog Lab and I use them without any problems and this is not even in the folder a rtm more on the desktop as an icon. After all, the ones I have did not have to unpack and give to vstplugin. And this Analog Lab is disappearing somewhere . I have on my desktop : Analog Lab (older version) , Analog Lab 4 and Analog Lab V . After downloading, I saw the file as Analog Lab V . Why do I need 2 of the same? Where and how to download this version of Analog Lab Play? I have a user account in Arturia.
Good Q. It wouldn't somehow downgrade you I'm hoping. Is Lite 5 a paid or free product? Lite has what, 500 presets vs Analog Plays 100? Apparently it's approx 100 new presets though, which would boost anyone's preset library a little. It wouldn't obviously be a replacement to 5 lites larger bank of presets, but if it's included in an available 5 lite update at the moment, well it's 100 extra sounds to pump up anyones collection. For beginners or people who are new to Arturia, starting off with a simpler ui with some quality essential presets might be welcomed. Yes it's to whet their appetite for more, but at the same time, the free new presets are for everyone to enjoy and benefit from. I use analog lab v (now Analog Lab pro) even though I'm not a pro 😅 and I'll use the play addition when I just want to jump into creativity with some essentials (that are top tier essentials at that imo) Try P A D S I'm not sure that I need v collection, so I like this kind of simpler offering Whatever you choose, I hope helps.
Hi Mike.... Like I said over on you facebook page. I am a piano player but the soft strings caught my fancy are is my favorite here. Thanks for making this available to us.
I'm getting a "Oops... The page you're looking for doesn't exist You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved" message on the link, from the link...
Hi Mike, Bonjour et merci ! I don't know if you will continue to produce videos on Cakewalk by BandLab but there is one topic which seems not covered yet by anyone : the audio Track Lanes, the mixing process of their clips onto the Track itself when such clips have been recorded in different ways in the Lanes (Sound on Sound, Overwrite) and what happen when we move them and/or modify their lengths on their respective lanes or copy them on other lanes of same or different Tracks...It would be an advanced video but it would be nice to have. Cheers,

He does a great job! 😊

It’s absolutely superb…I haven’t heard a better vst synth….thanks Arturia👏👏🎶
I got Twin Peaks vibes with that Lily's Dreams segment. Gorgeous.
Thanks Mike. Your videos are always helpful. The Arturia sounds are great.

Hey Mike, I hope you’re well. Another excellent video. Thanks.
Great video about an amazing plugin! My fave is currently "Little Brushes" from the "Lyli's Signature" sound bank. Thanks a heap!
Last one you played is my favorite-the 3rd one is my second favorite

Piano is my fav

A great piano has to be favorite. Thank you Mike. Going to install asap
I'm really diggin' "Ascend to Five" in the PADs.
Love Arturia and happy to see them make this conclusive looking library. Gives such a new dimension to composition when needed.
those strings sounded so good
Definitely getting this. Thanks for the heads up

The vibrato strings remind me of the Mellotron string from years past, particularly the Tony Banks lush string sounds from early Genesis.
I'm downloading this now!!!about time!!!
I just made my first track using!!! I love it!!!

Hi Mike.. Great to see another interesting vid. I think the Sequence was my favorite. cheers Nick.. WA.
Soft Vibrato Strings is delicious!! Thanks for the giveaway (please consider my entry) I needed that complete version so bad
Hi Mike. Thanks again for yet another great video. I've downloaded the software, but I don't have the slider controls below the knobs.
By the way, Haruto's Mystic Split is awesome to play Ballads like yours. Just notice that this instrument is actually tuned in Bb !
Cheers
Sounds great. Funny to see Juno and Jupiter plugins. However, my favorite is the American Home Grand. Thanks a lot Mike.
I think the strings for me comes out on top. I can see myself using that a lot!
Arturia just changed their mind after watching this video... page not found!!!
The site went down due to overload…
Thanks, downloading this now!
Thanks Mike for the demo. Is it possible to have one instance of Analog Lab to control multiple tracks in my DAW? I am using Studio One.
I love the pink floyd presets and the who
Love it, thank you!
Nice Plugin. The Harutos Mystic Split i like the most.
After a second listen, I'm even less sure which one is my favorite! LOL At first I was going with the American Grand Piano, but really like the Vibrato Strings and I know I'll use the Teenage Fugue, even though I'm sneaking up on 75.
Brass Winds sounds very nice! 🙂
Link for free download gives page not found :(
Updated: it works now :)
4 beautiful gigs of download from what I'm seeing....
is this within the Analog V plugin? im asking because it also plays presets that i own/bought from other packs
Thank you 🙏
Hi Mike, thanks for sharing! This is indeed a great give away - off the top I would go to Teenage Fugue for my current choice.😁
lily's Dream is my favorite but all souds are great...
thank you
Hi there, whenever I'm using this in cakewalk the audio quality just goes down and it's like a flanger being used in every sound
When I click on the link to the Arturia page and then the link to the free version I get an error message to say that doesn't exist.
me too
Ditto, but success when switched to a different web browser. Went from Brave to Edge.
Best of luck.
That seems to have worked! I opted to link from Edge. Thanks for the solution@@retskni
Actually, i'm not sure this is the free version of Lab Play. This appears to be the 30-day free demo. Time will tell!
Arturia knock out some class stuff - proud owner of augmented strings - and this appears to be no exception
With Arturia's great quality, it's hard to argue with free, right ?

I'm getting a "Oops... The page you're looking for doesn't exist" when I press on "free download". :S
great as usual
Can you add preset banks to this version?
Couldn't able to download. The page is showing an error.
Yes!
Gotta be the STRINGS for me:))
Where is the vst? I’ve installed and i can’t find it.
SO, is this still worth getting if you already have 4 and 5 lite?

A lot of these sounds are breaking up when I use them in CW as vst3 instrument..especially pads and keys. What's up with that?
can you add user presets ? (sound banks)
Thanks Mike,

Strings seems to be number one.
The Teenage Fugue is defintely a sound that I can use.

Very Nice
haruto's split.
how to downloadd
It says that the page doesn't exist
hmm.... won't let me download from their site. keeps telling me the page has been moved. Sounds cool though.
me too!
@@Snakes1000 same thing happened when following the link from bedroom producers blog. I guess they snatched that off the shelf already. lol.
Nice bro
8:53 Asks for Twin Peaks. Yet modulation is to big.
Too be honest, Spitfire free labs offers better musical value for free. That's just my personal opinion.
Ooops :(
Facebook? No thanks.
Thanks!!!
