In this game the Panov attack should be changed to the Panic attack.

i don't think so because alekhine must be better but still the position is really ok for black, they could have win/draw if they played well, resign in this position is stupid
I put the position in a chess engine and overall black was better by 1.5 points. The kicker is that knight to f7 wasn't even the best move. Ultimately, the duo resigned in a position where they were overall better than Alekhine
Obviously they had put so much effort into preparing and were so attached to their imagined game scenarios that when Alekhine blew it all up, they just could not go on. Great psychological judo throw! Thanks, Mato.

you wrong the complete move after RxN white continue Qxe6 black must be Qf8 white continue Qxe7 and white win
The problem with Qxe6 is that it invites Black Bishop to d5 and whatever exchange happens black will still have material advantage. Indeed how does white win!!

Mato u r wrong it was not bluff. After bxR kxB . Qxe6+ king can only go to e8 than BxN gxB Qxf6 ...... and white lost 2 pices but grabed 3 pawns and a rock
