this is a very big help..my delivery rider was asking me to share location in messenger and i was clueless how....good thing i came across this post...and now just waiting for the delivery rider to arrive hehe

I’m on an iPhone, and I don’t have the four dots. All I have is a +. When I try to click it, it asks me to send money.

On my Galaxy S8 I was able to location share until just recently, couple weeks. I no longer have the 4 dots or the microphone showing. I just got a new phone, also a Galaxy Android, and had to install Messenger, though data had transferred over. And again, NO 4 dots or microphone!!! What the heck is going on? My 2 sons and their wives still have the dots. Even uninstalled and re-installed, and no luck. Totally don't understand. Anyone having this issue in 2021??

I hope you find this helpful. On the messenger tap the icon with the smiley on it. Its where you type your message when you message someone.

Once you tap that button you will have to tap the star button there. Just below that you will see the location icon.
