How often could you do this? also, i use mancozeb 63% with carbendazim 12% - the ingredients not the brand name, since im in india. i can get your systemic compound as well here - any benefit your compound has over the one im currently using?
I live in drier climate that gets 12in a year of rainfall. I put moss in my mix to adapt. And I also spray the base of the plants lightly when the top of the roots start to look shriveled and sad. When the pot is fully dry, for those who like dry cycles. I water with a hose and they’re good again for a week of 90 degree heat. We have lots of root growth and Kiekis this year some even have 6 keikies from 2 psuedobulbs. The flowers don’t last as long but I still love them.
It sounds like you've got a great system figured out for your plants! Adapting to a drier climate can be challenging, but it seems like you’re making it work beautifully. Keep up the fantastic work!
I agree with much of what you say. Many parts of Florida have the ideal environment for orchids. Most of the problems for people like me, arise when we try to grow orchids that are not suited to our environment. Those are ones we keep on killing. 😂
You're absolutely right! Choosing orchids that match your local environment is crucial for success. It can really make a difference in how well they thrive.
You are really hitting the nail on the head very good information. Thank for sharing
Glad it was helpful!

Dave Hi . I.m in key west and the leaves on my phals are turning to slime ,any ideas
Give up. They are not meant for our climate. Indoors only. Even my professional grower friend can't get them happy.
