So been doing this for about a month. When I actively do this I get rid of my chicken wing. Been trying to get rid of it for years so happy about that. But when I do this I am hitting fades sometimes slices.

Same here Mark, I write left handed, throw right handed, golf right handed. I think there's a term for it 🤔...awesome. Awesome is the term.

Directing the hands and handle/grip under the shoulders coming down in the downswing (like good ball striking tour pros do) is great (encouraged by the ball by your feet you are swinging the handle toward) as opposed to the hands swing out towards the ball to target line with high hands that some (not good) instructors and players think they should be doing.

Tried this drill last night, instantly better contact and very straight shots! I feel like my distance was still lacking though, any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong?

I’m similar ie a leftie playing rightie golf and play all others leftie. I’m curious what eye dominant you are and the impact that has on longer clubs and putting re strike and alignment?

What weight counterbalance are you using in your 9 iron? It looks like you have a TourLock in there.

What kind of irons are you using. I can see that they are Srixon but which model?

I was taught the complete opposite of this at an American Golf driving range by a pro. I left as soon as my month's worth lessons ran out. Also only hit a 7 iron over 5 lessons with no questions about stats or strengths and weaknesses 😂

In other words: If you're not releasing the clubhead through the hitting area, here's a drill to get you to be more "flippy" at the bottom. Once you get this drill down, we'll teach you how to "hold off" a bit & keep the club "square" to the target line longer through impact!
    Damn! (Golf is hard!!)

I miss the course vlogs but Mark is second to none at communicating these ideas for me. I like that he’s analytical but has clearly learned the skill of translating it to be usable by the masses.

See this is where I get confused. You get 50% of golfers saying that lead wrist extension is a flip and half saying you need to do this

I'd trust Mark on this one. He does more swing measurement and analysis than just about any instructor. Hack motion, 3D measurement, force plates, you name it he does it.
