It was good to look back and see the progression :) I have some plans for next year. I really need some rock sliders fabricating and I would love a steel bumper to eventually mount a winch and light bar.
@@richardpaterson5498 that would be awesome, I made a drawer system but deffo up for a reiteration in better quality. I like the ARB bumpers but I think I’m gunna look into getting a skeletonised one fabbed up.
It’s been brilliant, I’ve had it almost exactly a year now, was thinking of doing like a year review video. Honestly it’s been faultless and everything is so easy to work on. Timing belt was a doddle. Everything is straight forward and parts are cheap which is what I wanted after living with the Disco 3.
Totally different beasts! Can’t beat the Disco for comfort and I loved the utilitarian interior design, but as I started working on my own cars you can’t beat the Toyota for ease of maintenance and reliability. The Toyota is far more simplistic but I think that what I needed! For me the Land Rover was just too expensive to keep going!
Nice looking trailer and tent set up guys 👍👍
Looking good .👍
Great little video! Love the 3rd Gen…great job on the mods and rebuild! But you almost ran over that bird 🐦 🤣!
Nice Video, love the SURF and how you are building it!
Thanks man, I love yours! Next years list includes getting the sliders and a steel bumbler to mount a winch!
Really enjoyable .. well done on your build ... I'm still a wee bit behind on mine ..

@@WoodcockFamilyOverland those ARB look great but pricey.
I've got the storage box/bed planes from solidwoodworks if you need a copy

Did you have to modify the Prinsu rack or is it straight bolt on for the Surf?
Bolts straight on to where the factory roof rails were.
ruclips.net/video/lXYGrqEAnyA/видео.html I did an install video! 👍
What colour is that when the video started I thought it was white?
It’s Warm grey pearl, or desert dune pearl 1A5
How would you compare the 2
