Thanks man, I love yours! Next years list includes getting the sliders and a steel bumbler to mount a winch!

It was good to look back and see the progression :) I have some plans for next year. I really need some rock sliders fabricating and I would love a steel bumper to eventually mount a winch and light bar.

@@WoodcockFamilyOverland those ARB look great but pricey.
I've got the storage box/bed planes from solidwoodworks if you need a copy

@@richardpaterson5498 that would be awesome, I made a drawer system but deffo up for a reiteration in better quality. I like the ARB bumpers but I think I’m gunna look into getting a skeletonised one fabbed up.

It’s been brilliant, I’ve had it almost exactly a year now, was thinking of doing like a year review video. Honestly it’s been faultless and everything is so easy to work on. Timing belt was a doddle. Everything is straight forward and parts are cheap which is what I wanted after living with the Disco 3.

Did you have to modify the Prinsu rack or is it straight bolt on for the Surf?

What colour is that when the video started I thought it was white?

How would you compare the 2

Totally different beasts! Can’t beat the Disco for comfort and I loved the utilitarian interior design, but as I started working on my own cars you can’t beat the Toyota for ease of maintenance and reliability. The Toyota is far more simplistic but I think that what I needed! For me the Land Rover was just too expensive to keep going!
