easy way to tell if it's fire or blizzard: immediately after he says "Begone, spawn of shadow!" the text on the screen will either say "The warrior of light imbues his blade with FIRE" or "The warrior of light imbues his blade with BLIZZARD"
Was wondering on the timing of the tank LB, my first run i simply watched the boss and when it looked like he was near the end of his charge up i popped it just fine. hearing to use it once the fourth gauge is filled helps though so thanks
It's not shared. The bar is designed to drop hard to make it feel like you actually struggle while in reality it's just how it is designed. Though if anyone does not succed the QTE it will be an instant wipe for the whole party.

@@Reqqy right on! I hate when people act like their way is the only way. First thing i did when i started ffxiv was change movement and action keys to emulate how I've had them set in other games. Muscle memory is a beautiful thing.

When he does his imbued aoe, how do you know witch ability is imbued with it. Blizzard or fire?
watch him "before" he cast aoe
for example at 1:00 his body cover in flame thats fire imbue so stay still when he after you avoid aoe
