I want to clarify something that's kinda important for not only Black Mage but also all the other guides. These are not rotation guides, I know I state and say things about their rotation, and I even explain a few things about it, but in the end that's not what these guides are meant for. The Idiot's guides are purely meant to help understand what each ability does in a short and quick video. I'm leaving it up to you, the viewer, to figure out the rotation and class more on your own. I'm thankful that a lot of people got inspired because of these guides and have gone on to main the classes they saw from my videos. But I don't want anything to be misleading so I just thought I should clarify this especially with Black Mage as I know this class is not easy to explain especially with the way I do things.
Honestly, as a person who has been on a learning-binge and picking up classes left to right, let me just say your videos are an amazing start and provide a *GIST* of a class which makes things far less intimidating when you want to learn a class and all you can find are 20+ minute videos with folk taking ages to get to rotation and not detailing what each action in a rotation does! You are a perfect introduction to a class and allow my noob self to see how the class works at a thousand-foot view and I highly appreciate you! 😄💖
If anyone wants a beginner's guide to the BLM basic rotation based on your level, here it goes: At first, you'll use Fire and Transpose to go to Blizzard and recover your mana. Use Thunder when you're on your Umbral Ice phase. For your AoE rotation it's the same thing, Fire 2 till out of mana > Transpose > Blizzard 2 > Thunder 2 > Blizzard 2 till full mana. Then you get Aspect Mastery at level 50. You won't need to use transpose anymore. Your rotation will be Fire 3 > Fire 1 till out of mana > Blizzard 3 > Thunder > Blizzard 3 till full mana > Fire 3 so on. Aspect mastery will make so, when are at max Astral phase, you'll change to max Umbral Phase when you cast Blizzard 3, and when at max Umbral phase you'll go to full Astral phase when you cast Fire 3. After you get Fire 4, your DPS starts to ramp up. You get a opener at this level as well, it is Fire 3 > Fire 4 till out of mana > Blizzard 3. After you have max mana, your rotation will go as Fire 3> Fire 4 > Fire 4 > Fire 4 > Fire 1 > Fire 4 > Fire 4 > Fire 4 > Blizzard 3 > Thunder 3 > Blizzard 3 till full mana and repeat after Fire 3. as for your AoE, when you get the Umbral Hearts, from Umbra phase with 3 hearts you'll go Fire 2 > Fire 2 again for the enhanced flare proc > Flare > Flare > Blizzard 2 > Ice 4 and repeat. This is about it for a basic guide on rotation. Yes, there is better than this, I think, but if you survive till here you'll get around it. Good luck fellow BLM!
Also of note; Thundercloud not only removes the cast time and cost of Thunder, but also deals the entire DoT's worth of damage at once, then reapplies the DoT on top of that. It's like Foul/Xeno before you even get them.
Yeah so there are many times where as a BLM I know I should hold thundercloud to start DOT on the next trash mob but I want to use it to all but finish out the current trash mob and flip that coin hoping to prop thundercloud again. 😅😅😅😅
True, but in most cases you only want to use thundercloud if the proc is going to run out, or to reapply the DoT. The damage it does isn't worth snapshotting everytime it comes up.
@@tdw395 well said. I suppose I was overzealous in my expression. What I meant to covey is the DoT should never fall. Miss DoT from the original summoner build.
Not to say we need an "update video" for how to Black Mage for Dawntrail, but for me as a recent player (or at least my Black Mage was around 50-60 when Dawntrail started), but I did notice one critical thing that changed my overall experience with Black Mage in a big way: Umbral Soul. For those unaware, as stated in the video, You would get this move at Level 76. Quite a ways out for someone who may just started using Black Mage. But when Dawntrail launched and some time after launch, Umbral Soul suddenly turned into a Level 35 skill. This means you not only get it almost immediately after you go from THM to BLM, but then they also boosted the amount of MP recovered during Umbral Ice (including Umbral Soul becoming the ultimate replenishment for MP and three Umbral Hearts on standby, which was also an additional feature added to Umbral Soul rather than just one Heart at a time). Imagine this: You finish a fight and then you swap to Umbral Ice with Transpose. Then you use Umbral Soul to not only set Umbral Ice to 3, but you also recover all your used up MP and have three Umbral Hearts ready for use three Fire spells at a lesser MP cost. So go onto the next battle with full MP, right? Well, Umbral Soul also freezes (apologies for the pun) the Umbral timer, so that means you get to run around with a full Umbral Ice 3 ready to go so you can effective start the next fight with Fire 3 at No Cost. It's funny too since you learn Fire 3, Blizzard 3, and Umbral Soul all at Level 35 so that means you are ready to go on a magical rampage once you reach this level. There's a very good chance a future patch could slap Umbral Soul down a peg, but I found this to make Black Mage a far more engaging job for me than before Dawntrail when I just used it once and a while. It seems silly to say a job activates as low as 35, but this has felt like a fun godsend for newer players. I do hope it sticks around for the foreseeable future though since this has been a delight. That or as a new player, I do feel like it has been a big change, but probably haven't used Black Mage long enough to know if it is actually significant or not.
Great video. Very useful for those that are interested in playing as BLM. The rotation for BLM is very simple. But learning when and where to move is the hardest thing to master. You can instantly tell between new BLM to a raider BLM by simply watching them how they move. It's quite interesting.
Tbh I started with blm - im at 79, it's currently the only class I can run in level 70 content while I try to level up other stuff and avoid shadowbringers until I can get comfy with the difficulty spike, and I'm having BIG PROBLEMS doing that properly ;_; It's the only thing in having issues with, really. I have my rotation down, I use my aoes, I have friends teaching me stuff, but moving *the right way* is just really really hard for me??? I can avoid aoes as much as my ping allows me (230 my detested) but whenever I fuck up something more times I just start either screaming and running or greeding and dying, which is the worst given how much I adore this class. Concept, rotation, difficulties and peculiarities I love it all, but this exacy problem is starting to really ruin my playing experience and idk where to start to like, really learn how to move and cast at the same time D:
Scathe. Is a cleaning spell. So that in single player content you can clip that last little bit of enemy health and start swapping targets. Or moving to the next hunting zone. It is a pure farming optimization spell.
Yeah. Its definitely not a rotational spell but it has many optimization uses for various kinds of farming or clearing out areas. Im confused why so many claim its useless. I doubt they actually play black mage.
I use it a lot when I'm trying to catch up to tanks doing really big pulls so that I can still do enough damage getting from point a to point b. But yeah, during bosses it's probably not the best.
This was really helpful and well put together! As someone who's leveled almost every job except BLM, I'm sure I'll be coming back to this whenever I decide to give it a go.
I say "BLAM! BOOM!! BAM!! WHAM!!!" for the x4 fire IVs respectively. For Thunder III/IV I say, "ZAPPO!!" and for thundercloud procs it's usually, "bzzt zzzzt zzzzzztt! It's a very vocal job.
The only time I'd use 'Scathe' in actual combat other than farming is when I'm absolutely sure that a mob might be left with smallest tick of health left after a big spell like Fire IV, it only saves just about a few seconds of casting for whatever convenience you see fit, whether it's for the last mob of the pull or something else.
As a former WoW player, yup, this is basically an Arcane mage - difference is, mana regen is way faster: two casts (okay, actually three casts to get your umbral hearts) in ice phase and you're full again, blasting away :) Already at early levels, you spend 2/3 of your time in Fire, and later, from 80 onwards its more like 4/5 that you spend in Fire.
Although I didn’t play BLM, I always feel satisfying by watching your video as always! Love your voice (Am I weird? Lol) and your videos, especially the dance move and the “bye” at the end every time! 🤣🤣🤣
I've just returned to FF XIV after a 4 year break. Left when I hit 70 with several of my classes. I've went 70 with all the casters except Black Mage. For some reason the class just doesn't click with me. The new Summoner is something I do dig. I find it more streamlined compared to the old version. I've just started on my way to 71, while my Black Mage is still stuck at level 64.
As a guys who never played FF14 Ive found this video to be best introduction to black mage. If I were to begin playing, I would start with this job as I love caster archetype and black mage seems to fit me more than red.
The problem I have with this job is the concept of having 3-4 different levels of the same exact ability. Like Fire I, II, III, IV. I think this is why it’s difficult for me to get the rotation. I wish the skill set was more versatile in terms of creating combos and such that we see with Samurai or even Red Mage for example. BLM is just spamming Fire IV and rotating with ice spells. It just feels really clunky to play, stale and boring to some degrees.
Yeah, they really only need a single and AOE of each type. Upgrade them as you level to where you just have III and IV of Fire, Blizzard and Thunder. Just six abilities rather than 12 (Maybe 10? Does Thunder just have 2 types, I haven't played BLK in a long time.)
Each spell serves a different purpose with very little, if any, overlap within each element. If you try to view each tier as simply more powerful versions than the previous, then I can see the reason for the frustration. But BLM definitely has an interesting rotation with a lot of room for error.
So aside from updating some job guides for Endwalker, how many jobs are left to go through? One tank - Gunbreaker; One healer - Astrologian; ...and that's it, unless you count Blue Mage. ...I'm betting Mr. Rip and Tear is next.
Maybe it's because most of my 300 hours have been spent on BLM, but I feel the reverse about how complicated it is. I just stand in one spot and press like 6 buttons, man. I get confused when I look at any _other_ job's rotations.
I think its a combination of managing that mp, enochian countdown and upkeep (personally the most flaky part for me) while watching mechanics which with a second of time can be the difference between you getting out a full rotation or not
2:23 Okay, I know these aren't perfect class guides, and this is a huge nitpick, but I'll say it anyway just incase it helps anyone. If you only have enough MP for one Fire I and one Despair, just do the Despair. It's a DPS loss to spend a whole GCD to reset Enochian just for one spell. Yes, even when that means you spend up to 3900 MP on just a single spell. It's unintuitive, but that's Black Mage for you. I haven't done the math to tell just how many GCDs it's worth refreshing Enochian for, but I know that one is just not worth it.
I don’t play BLM . I’m only lvl24 and I’ve always heard how you can tell yoshi p plays this because of its kit. With this video I finally understand what they mean. The synergy and intricacy of this class is unmatched. They work really hard on BLM . I do wish they would give a bit more love to certain classes to this extent. *cough* DRK WHM SCH *cough* after this video I’ll give BLM a shot
Oh man, i just crossed lv 50 and got aetherial manipulation. I think its such a cool move but i never recognize when its good to use it. Im loving blm tho 😃
The only time I'd use it in actual combat is when I'm absolutely sure that a mob might be left with smallest tick of health left after a big spell like Fire IV, it only saves just about a few seconds of casting for whatever convenience you see fit, whether it's for the last mob of the pull or something else.
6 times Gladiator Balance druid here. highest rating achieved in Mop , 2800 Rbg . i understood absolutely 0 . and i mean zero of this video or rotation......
Not sure if it helps but if not maybe someone else: In Short, BLM is FFXIV has 2 phases/stances, Ice for recovery, Fire for Damage. You also have to manage a DoT (thunder) and Polyglot (Resource to spend on Xenoglossy for ST, Foul for AOE) which is rewarded for proper management of your "Stances" AKA by not dropping them. You Typicaly enter/switch stances with Fire & Blizzard II or III (II for AOE III for Single Target), and while in these stances you gain Enochain, which Increases damage dealt by 5%/10%/20% while under the effect of Astral Fire or Umbral Ice and grants Polyglot upon maintaining stances for 30 seconds ~phases/stances~ For both phases/stances there are levels, Fire/Ice I II III, (Shown bu the 3 crystals at the top left of your gague) reaching Ice III will reduce the next casttime of a fire spell (you'd Primarily use Fire II or Fire III), Ice also has increased mana regen, For fire phase Each stack of Fire increases your Fire spells Damage by a % and at certain levels make the next Ice spell free of cost in Ice phase you have a separate resource called Umbral Hearts, which can be gained by Freeze for AOE or Blizard IV For Single target. These reduce the cost of your fire spells (One umbral heart per fire spell so at most you can reduce the cost of 3 spells) In Fire phase you spam Fire IV 3 to 4 times (Varries on scenario, spell speed, Refresh Thunder, Spending Polyglot, etc) before you have to refresh the timer with Paradox/Fire I Then Fire IV till you cant anymore, and if done correctly you should have 1200 mana (800 if hardcasted thunder) to spend on Despair to 0 out on mana. then swap to Ice using Bliz 2/3. ~Resources~ BLM has 4 resources to manage. You have your mana of course, Polyglot, and Firestarter and Thundercloud Procs Mana is self explanatory, you spend it all in fire (Typiclally) and recover in ice. Polyglot is a resource you spend for powerful spells that at later levels are great for movement. Typicaly you cast them when you switch over to ice to give your mana a tick to regen. But do not be afraid to spend in fire or anywhere for movement. Firestarter makes your next fire III Free and instant. it is gained by chance from Fire I/paradox, but can be forced by using sharpcast Thundercloud procs of each tick of your thunder dot, it makes the next thunder spell instant, do the full damage of the dot and reapplies the dot, it can be also be gained bu using shaprcast before casting thunder for a guanrnteed proc. ~Tools~ BLM has a variety of tools at its disposal. Manafront is a ability to regen 3000 Mana, typically used at the end of a fire phase for an extra flare/fire II or Fire IV>Despair Manaward is a personal Sheild for 30% of ya HP Triplecast makes your next 3 spells instant, usually used in an opener but can be saved for movement, you have 2 stacks of this ability, can lead to 6 instacasts, SWiftcast, a role based ability, makes next spell instacast, (is used first if used while having tripplecast stacks) Amplifier, gives a stack of Polyglot. Umbral Soul, AValiable only in ice, its your "press when not in combat/downtime" button to maintain your ice phase so you don't drop Enochain/POlyglot timer Transpose, an of global way to swap between ice and fire, but only leaves you at lvl I for either when used. It primarily isn't used unless you are using the transpose rotation. Leylines, BLMs bread and butter, basically places an AOE totemesk where as long as you stand in it, you gain Spell speed. ~Rotation ~ BLM Rotation Varries level cap to level cap, but your general plan is to stay in fire for as long as possible in a fight, and only use ice to recover, spend resources if they are about to overcap, recast thunder. I reccmoend WeskAlber's rotation videos. but hey! if anyone has any questions from a Fellow BLM's pov, hmu! while I'm sure there are great guides out there, I understand talking to someone is helpful too!
@@wates101 thank you for the effort, im only lvl 27(trial), so havent unlocked BLM, but i cant even understand fire/ice as it is now, more so the targeting with a controller, it feels like going up against Usain Bolt while stuck in a wheelchair, i believe i understood moon/sun phases in wow, atleast thats what i "hear" from others lol ;) not so much in ff14 . sun/moon phase had a purpose in wow, inc dmg etc, maybe BLM gets more fluid at cap, instant spells etc, i dunno .
@@sirarthurkingofbobland4159 It definitely does get more fluid as the levels go up! Well fellow Warrior of light, I Welcome you to Eorzea! Hope you enjoy your time here!!
I dropped black mage on lvl 56 months ago. Recently was thinking about picking it up again. To be honest - my head just exploded watching this. The what phase does what now? I can't do this. I'm out..
imo explain abit more elaborate to new players, why fire & thunder procs are so useful (not just instant with no mp cost, but often essential for blm movement since "blm need usually to stand still with relative long cast timers", every instant cast helps.., and fire procs can keep astral fire running hot)
Blm is super rythmic once you get your rotation down. Little variation here or there. Its when something pulls you out of rotation after like lvl 60 or so that i find it can be hard getting back in rotation. Plus side is i can glide cast with the best of em now lol. Leylines will mess you up trying to get that last millisecond of a cast in before an aoe ruins yours and your healers day lol.
Gotta ask. What staff is that? It's absolutely gorgeous! Ps. Great video. Really helpful for people just getting into a new job. It's really nice to have videos like these that hold your hand and break it down for you so you can jump into early game content with confidence while leveling. Being able to know what future abilities do and how to use them as soon as you get them is really helpful.
So what im getting from BLM, youre playing monster hunter, because to be optimal half the time you need to expect what the boss is doing to position in the best way possible for you dish out all your damage
It's not that hard if you play basic dungeon content and not actual raids the rotations are annoying by itself then you talk about proper timing for while charging It's very hard.
I'm a casual player who leveled to 60 or so BLM.. and I couldn't even beat the lvl 60 BLM quest. Don't really understand all the terminology from guides... BUT I really want to get into this game and learn how to play BLM and WHM. Can I hire you to teach me the ins and outs? (serious question) ;)
Jesus I hate the way people spy on you in Dungeons sometimes. I used Blizzard a couple more times than I needed to just because I was a bit zombified while playing and I start getting nagged at 'why aren't you using fire?!?' I was using fire but seriously why do people care? Concentrate on your own job, okay so you spotted me using Blizzard while my MP was full once or twice don't make an issue of it!!!! I hate the multiplayer aspect of these games sometimes.
Wtf 😂 that is so complicated, this job is probably the most complicated job in the game and I don't think that's a a good thing in my opinion cuz it also doesn't want u to move so no thanks probably gonna reach level 90 and will never touch it again

I wish the skill set was more versatile in terms of creating combos and such that we see with Samurai or even Red Mage for example. BLM is just spamming Fire IV and rotating with ice spells. It just feels really clunky to play, stale and boring to some degrees.
yeah i just can't get it to click for me either even though aesthetically it's one of my favorite jobs
YERRRR NEW POTATO CLASS GUIDE
This was a great video, thank you! 🙏
sleep can be really usefull if your tank dies in a big pull
"It's really not that hard"
*Talks for the next 5 mins explaining things I'll easily forget*
I think it's easier if you first cast spells as BLM and then watch video so you can see what they were talking about.
i like your funny words, magic man
Wow Great Guide!

Okay, I know these aren't perfect class guides, and this is a huge nitpick, but I'll say it anyway just incase it helps anyone.
Love your guides. Hope I could watch them, if RUclips not gonna be blocked in my country (Russia), because of reasons.

How do you get that zodiac weapon light like that in the beginning of the video?
That is an ultimate weapon from the the ultima ultimate fight
Catch phrase acquired "I wanna do that"
I was hoping to learn more about the rotations for BLM, sadly in the video the tooltip is just read out loud
I like the coat you are wearing. What armor is it?
This is really well explained, the game (tooltips and all) does a very poor job of explaining what everything does. Thank you
How is it that I'm only JUST now learning that Fire and Blizzard III swap out your charges???
Anyone know what glamours he is using? I like that coat a lot
Now i feel less stupid than when I started Black Mage 6 months ago.
I know you might have your next guide already planned out, but for the one after that, could you please do Gunbreaker?
Still a bit confused about how Black mage works... but less than before
I don’t play BLM .
That staff is 🔥
What's it called? I'll definitely get that. Been playing BLM for a week now, really enjoying it.
Stardust Rod Ultima, it's an ARR relic weapon.
Is the Stardust Rod Ultima, get if from "The Weapon's Refrain (Ultimate)" or UWU for short
What this doesn't explain, is how you have to memorize every single boss in the game to maximize your uptime in your leylines, lol. *Dies*
I like your energy
Oh man, i just crossed lv 50 and got aetherial manipulation. I think its such a cool move but i never recognize when its good to use it. Im loving blm tho 😃
Think this will get an update?
Why are u HUD different? Like, the aesthetic of font and bars?
I dont see anything different.
@@Lillith-uj7tt xD
Did a dungeon where my leylines weren’t learned yet. I wanted to cry man you have no idea how many times I hit it
scathe is purely when farming things/doing quest, where you one shot mob with it
The only time I'd use it in actual combat is when I'm absolutely sure that a mob might be left with smallest tick of health left after a big spell like Fire IV, it only saves just about a few seconds of casting for whatever convenience you see fit, whether it's for the last mob of the pull or something else.
Scathe is the perfect "enemy has one pixel left so im just gonna "swiftcast" kill it while running" move tho!
No cap
Does anyone know how he got the health and mp bars to look flatter/squarer like that?
Mods.
@@Heymrk yup! Found out it's called MaterialUI for anyone who was looking for it
6 times Gladiator Balance druid here. highest rating achieved in Mop , 2800 Rbg . i understood absolutely 0 . and i mean zero of this video or rotation......
Not sure if it helps but if not maybe someone else:
In Short, BLM is FFXIV has 2 phases/stances, Ice for recovery, Fire for Damage.
You also have to manage a DoT (thunder) and Polyglot (Resource to spend on Xenoglossy for ST, Foul for AOE) which is rewarded for proper management of your "Stances" AKA by not dropping them.
You Typicaly enter/switch stances with Fire & Blizzard II or III (II for AOE III for Single Target), and while in these stances you gain Enochain, which Increases damage dealt by 5%/10%/20% while under the effect of Astral Fire or Umbral Ice and grants Polyglot upon maintaining stances for 30 seconds
~phases/stances~
For both phases/stances there are levels, Fire/Ice I II III, (Shown bu the 3 crystals at the top left of your gague)
reaching Ice III will reduce the next casttime of a fire spell (you'd Primarily use Fire II or Fire III), Ice also has increased mana regen,
For fire phase Each stack of Fire increases your Fire spells Damage by a % and at certain levels make the next Ice spell free of cost
in Ice phase you have a separate resource called Umbral Hearts, which can be gained by Freeze for AOE or Blizard IV For Single target. These reduce the cost of your fire spells (One umbral heart per fire spell so at most you can reduce the cost of 3 spells)
In Fire phase you spam Fire IV 3 to 4 times (Varries on scenario, spell speed, Refresh Thunder, Spending Polyglot, etc) before you have to refresh the timer with Paradox/Fire I Then Fire IV till you cant anymore, and if done correctly you should have 1200 mana (800 if hardcasted thunder) to spend on Despair to 0 out on mana. then swap to Ice using Bliz 2/3.
~Resources~
BLM has 4 resources to manage. You have your mana of course, Polyglot, and Firestarter and Thundercloud Procs
Mana is self explanatory, you spend it all in fire (Typiclally) and recover in ice.
Polyglot is a resource you spend for powerful spells that at later levels are great for movement. Typicaly you cast them when you switch over to ice to give your mana a tick to regen. But do not be afraid to spend in fire or anywhere for movement.
Firestarter makes your next fire III Free and instant. it is gained by chance from Fire I/paradox, but can be forced by using sharpcast
Thundercloud procs of each tick of your thunder dot, it makes the next thunder spell instant, do the full damage of the dot and reapplies the dot, it can be also be gained bu using shaprcast before casting thunder for a guanrnteed proc.
~Tools~
BLM has a variety of tools at its disposal.
Manafront is a ability to regen 3000 Mana, typically used at the end of a fire phase for an extra flare/fire II or Fire IV>Despair
Manaward is a personal Sheild for 30% of ya HP
Triplecast makes your next 3 spells instant, usually used in an opener but can be saved for movement, you have 2 stacks of this ability, can lead to 6 instacasts,
SWiftcast, a role based ability, makes next spell instacast, (is used first if used while having tripplecast stacks)
Amplifier, gives a stack of Polyglot.
Umbral Soul, AValiable only in ice, its your "press when not in combat/downtime" button to maintain your ice phase so you don't drop Enochain/POlyglot timer
Transpose, an of global way to swap between ice and fire, but only leaves you at lvl I for either when used. It primarily isn't used unless you are using the transpose rotation.
Leylines, BLMs bread and butter, basically places an AOE totemesk where as long as you stand in it, you gain Spell speed.
~Rotation ~
BLM Rotation Varries level cap to level cap, but your general plan is to stay in fire for as long as possible in a fight, and only use ice to recover, spend resources if they are about to overcap, recast thunder. I reccmoend WeskAlber's rotation videos.
but hey! if anyone has any questions from a Fellow BLM's pov, hmu! while I'm sure there are great guides out there, I understand talking to someone is helpful too!
@@wates101 thank you for the effort, im only lvl 27(trial), so havent unlocked BLM, but i cant even understand fire/ice as it is now, more so the targeting with a controller, it feels like going up against Usain Bolt while stuck in a wheelchair, i believe i understood moon/sun phases in wow, atleast thats what i "hear" from others lol ;) not so much in ff14 . sun/moon phase had a purpose in wow, inc dmg etc,
maybe BLM gets more fluid at cap, instant spells etc, i dunno .
I'm out..
I don´t know why but my Enochian Guage doesn´t increase :/
BLM is awesome,
I bought a second keyboard and now all my spells are easily available.
imo explain abit more elaborate to new players, why fire & thunder procs are so useful
(not just instant with no mp cost, but often essential for blm movement since "blm need usually to stand still with relative long cast timers", every instant cast helps.., and fire procs can keep astral fire running hot)
Now I understand BLM better. Left it at 60 after finding the new tools kinda weird to fit in my playatyle.
I remember playing black mage don't remember what happened to my Pc
Schamberger Landing
Hey not sure if allowed but is there any active voice chatting free companys out there on gilgamesh that has room for a british guy??
boss starts casting massive ground aoe Me, a BLM: Nope, not getting outta these Ley Lines
So what im getting from BLM, youre playing monster hunter, because to be optimal half the time you need to expect what the boss is doing to position in the best way possible for you dish out all your damage
I...
Actually agree...
It is exactly like Monster Hunter in that regard.
Why does Blm have TBN?
to stand in AoEs better, of course
It's not that hard if you play basic dungeon content and not actual raids the rotations are annoying by itself then you talk about proper timing for while charging It's very hard.
Nope.. still don't understand any of it. Black mage just looks like a different language to me
well that was confusing
FFXIV的黑魔法師job挺讓我困惑的,所以我直接按照balance網站建議(;´∀`)
after all this... i still have no clue how to BLM
Amya Key
I cant find enochian im level 80
it's already been removed.. before you need to cast enochian to use fire 3 and bliz 3 spells etc, but now, it's automatic.
how out of date is this now with DT out?
Pfeffer Summit
Harris Carol Hernandez Matthew Wilson Maria
Scathe is useless thanks to GCD when I last tried BlMage
I find this funny. I don't find BLM all that confusing. Is it because it was my first main class?? LOL
Hello!
"don't use this"😭😭
i hate black mage im only here wo watch and support. take my like and view time!
yay the 1000th like ^^
Why do people always say black mage is hard i think it was always easy. You going for top dps then your trying to hard
Everytime I see a BLM not leave leylines in an Aoe. I laugh cause I understand now after playing BLM.
Better fullbust
Dragon Knight PLS!(;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)
Ngl dosent even sound that confusing
Yeah so... You lost me at fire 1.
I'm sorry but it feels like you ARE YELLING THIS ENTIRE VIDEO.
First!!!
totally useless bla bla bla bla for a newbie black mage
None of these words are in the Bible.
Wtf 😂 that is so complicated, this job is probably the most complicated job in the game and I don't think that's a a good thing in my opinion cuz it also doesn't want u to move so no thanks probably gonna reach level 90 and will never touch it again
