What is that spinning chair? How cool! It also trains the brain in my opinion

If your in the Uk Amy bought it from The Range , they have in store and online , approx £154 currently, you can get them on Amazon too , type in Gonge Carousel. It massively helps George with his vestibular sense

Funny story for you. Me as an autistic adult a few years back I use to something similar with the spinning but on a work chair at home.
One day spun so fast I lost balance went to the floor. I didn't get hurt rather I was laughing I thought it was fun.
When it comes to transitions I experience something similar but not exact.
For example I struggle till this day with change. I hate it strongly when there is a change that happens.
But I also found out that if you tell me about the change in advance and you allow me time to process usually I'm more inclined to accept change and go alone with it.
It's also issues with adaptation. If I'm used to something and you were to tell me to do it differently well the new way is something I've never done before, I don't understand, and so I'm scared of it. And that fear is usually always one of a few reasons why I have hesitation and strong aversion to changes. I know it's not the exact same as transitions but it's someone what similar so i just wanted to mention it!
    Great video! Good information!

Thanks for your reply and experience, we do try to prepare George for any changes, it also helps him when he’s informed, so think after being off school for 6 weeks to then going back to routine will always take some time , since the changes it’s been much better this week

@@AutismTwinsUs Sounds good that things have gotten better that's good to hear. And I completely understand. I can understand this challenge. It isn't easy. But it sounds like you are doing the best possible for George and that's good to hear.
I've been catching up on some of the videos I've missed as I've been away from RUclips for a bit. I was taking a Mental Health rest.
It's good to hear from you. I hope you and your family are doing well!

@@AutismTwinsUs I am much better now. Thank you! But I was struggling for a while . Thankfully I have a good support system around me. It allows me to get help fast when needed! 👍

Transitions are hard. Kids get noisy at the end of the day and loud along with everything is a rush to pack up and head home.

Probably George’s most challenging thing is transitioning too and from anywhere tbh, we just have to work on it
