Omg hearing an autistic young person saying they don't get bullied is so heartwarming. It just shows that everyone has done so much to help him feel supported and teach other young people about acceptance
Sadly, autism wasn't well known and understood back when I was going to school. It's great hearing about kids with autism having friends who love them and care for them!
I'm glad to hear. Sadly, that wasn't the case for me. I was badly bullied by teachers and my classmates. I grew up in the 90s, and there wasn't a whole lot of support, unlike now. As an adult, I still struggle quite a bit.

I’m 62 with audhd and was never diagnosed. There was no diagnosing when I was a kid so my life growing up was very difficult. 😞 I’m probably a level 1 but that’s not to say that as a kid I did ok because I didn’t. I’m so glad to see that autistic kids today can get diagnosed and receive the help they deserve and need not just from school but from their loving parents such as yourself. ❤🙏 Alistair is clearly thriving.

Oh my gosh Alistair is so smart it's great to see him grow since he was little I have some autistic traits like stimming and I'm not good at social cues but I'm assuming it's mostly related to my ADHD?
At school, I always struggled with maths, right up until I was introduced to algebra, and formulas in chemistry and physics. Up to that point, I needed a lot of help with maths, something just clicked into place at that point. I struggled in general through school, and because of my quietness and struggling with groups, I did get bullied throughout school. It's nice to hear about an autistic young man not being picked on at school.
My heart melted watching this beautiful little man. I'm so happy he's not being bullied. I'd want to be one of the kids protecting him and keeping him safe from all hurt, but he must be surrounded by others like that. That smile lights up the universe.

Allister has come so far!!! You are goofy and so happy I wish there was other kids like him growing up I like and make friends with people who are happy like him.
Mr. Owen can you do an experiment with your kids. Ask all of them the same questions about school verbally. Record their answers to see how they respond. Then ask the same questions on paper for them to answer the questions just like the way you ask them verbally. Then record their answer. See how written language is different and more accurate to responding to the question. Then guide them to word choices and options to help them with their responses to what you know their own situation and needs in school. To guide their words and responses. I don't think Conner will need this help but please do the same help for him without bias to know he needs less help. Because I you be surprised to see conner needing more help with communication and back and forth. Just the learning experience and to educate people to our communication issues and processing issues and how we interpret information and how we think and respond to the information. To show our different way to think and see the world around us. I have the issue of answer and understand the things around me. I am aware of it sometimes. And sometimes i am aware of not understanding the questions and the other person not understand what i am trying to say or get at or my exact meaning of my messages isnt being understood by others and myself and i don't know how else to explain my response.
