True respect here. You are The Godfather of Diesel power been in the game longer then most, record holding, true badaśš and you call out there product and give them high praise for what they done. You sir are awesome. I’m a BMW gas motor guy but if I ever get a diesel not only will I know whom I’ll be buying my upgraded from I’ll understand the Science behind it. Thank you for the video
I like that if someone is making a high quality product that fits the need, you will use it. If none can be found you will make it or have one of the manufactures that you deal with make it and help yours and their R&D better. In the end everyone who watches these videos is learning, the customer gets the best products weather it be from Banks or their supplier and the world is a cleaner place with more power. Thanks Banks.
12:00ish - that is probably THE thing I remember from your early days of diesel tuning - the emphasis on a CLEAN burn and efficiency.
Just wish some of the other 'tuners' working with diesels would do the same thing!

LPG - propan butan in small quantity (2-7% of MAF ) added to intake of diesel make combustion much faster ! also it can be added as very cold fluid to supercharger intake and cool it ...only if I have this engine here in Poland ehh :) PS ; Mr Banks You are the best !

Why wouldn't a single, further stroked version (the 12mm you mentioned) not be a more appropriate route than running dual 10mm which result in substantial overhead?

I can say I spent a summer learning from Gale Banks.
It is a little late but Banks should sponsor one of the king of the hammers vehicles with a diesel engine. .
LOL I maxed out a 10mm pump on my truck with 80% overs at like 850hp range, currently have a s&s 14mm and their body modded 250% overs and I don't thing this would do 1500hp..

1600hp worth of fuel through a 10mm cp3? I’m a little bit confused; do other manufactures under rate the fuel flow capabilities of their stroker CP3’s? I.E. Fleece with their powerflo 750 CP3 I believe is a 10mm and they rate it being capable of flowing enough fuel for around 750hp (with appropriate supporting mods of course). I’m guessing that is a sustained rating. There may be more fuel available for short intervals at WOT?
Daniel Thompson remember, Gale is most likely referring to horsepower at the crank, not wheel horsepower. Take into consideration drivetrain losses and his power claims seem to fall more in line with what is the “norm”. Stock CP3 claim of “800hp” with a ~15% drivetrain loss equates to 680. Bit on the high side but not unheard of if the air is there and everything is healthy. 1600hp with a ~15% drivetrain loss comes out to 1,360. That is a good but further than what I’m used to seeing 10mm pumps support, so S&S’s answer will best support the theory behind that. I was puzzled by Bank’s claims as well until I realized they were most likely engine dyno numbers and he of all people makes sure the air is there to match as well.
@@SSfueled will those injectors work in a bone stock L5P? If they will, will there be any special requirements to use them or program them to the existing computer? I have a issue with Denso-itis. I've lost 2 injectors in 2 different cylinders in a bone stock L5P equipped 2018 3500HD dually with only 120,000 miles. This is driving me into the poor house replacing these.

What is commonly used for test fluid?
The test fluid has similar viscosity and flow characteristics of actual fuel. It's blended to an exact spec and is consistent with test numbers versus diesel fuel which can be all over the map. Also, it's less flammable that diesel fuel.
Gale, What makes the cp4 worst than a cp3? Ford guys said cp4 was junk for past few years and now they have one so it must be the best out there. Lol

Gale, I don't know who served you those Numbers, Here's the Facts, I Todd at TC Diesel made the First HIGH RPM CP3, This Pump was available to Purchase back in 2005 and still in production Long Before S&S existed. Let me know when you want to have that CP3 Challenge, or is Your relationship that binding with S&S it can't take on the Competition?

If you have the money, ditch the Denso Fuel Injectors as soon as possible. No joke. The Denso Fuel Injectors are FAILING all over the country. I've lost 2 injectors in 2 different cylinders at 120,000 miles on a bone stock L5P. GM isnt owning up to it because they dont want to go public with another LM7 scenario. At the time of me typing this, I'm sitting in a Holiday Inn and my $75,000 paper weight is sitting over at the dealer. I have to wait all weekend, until Monday, to talk to GM, AGAIN, about these fuel injector failures. If I had the money Gale I would order those things in a heartbeat just for reliability and to fix this cancer that is Denso in my motor. I'm a hotshot hauler and these injector issues are costing me THOUSANDS of dollars. There is nothing preventative to stop it either. In short, dump the Denso's and get these injectors. I would.
