Was about to buy brand new BMW series 5, but took a test ride with new XF and totally loved it. That was my choice and no regrets, took me while to get in touch with it as my previous car was Audi and driving experience is totally different, but this gives a great comfort with enough dynamic when needed as daily and for trips.
I have, I couldn’t bring myself to spend another 10k on a bmw, like for like only to look at it and be completely bored and the same as everyone else. To me it’s stunning inside and out.
Great review, love this car! Am so sick of SUV's. This is on my sedan list. Less than a G80, the sweet spot of horsepower, great driving dynamics, especially with the dynamic handling package. Thanks for this one!
The interior is fairly nice, but the exterior looks so similar to the one from 10 years ago. Then there’s build quality and reliability which is obviously quite bad. The price is pretty good though.
@LexusTexasToast I'm curious as to how you come to the conclusion that "build quality and reliability which is obviously quite bad". Do you own one? Since it is a updated model, wouldn't it be fair to say that any diagnosis of reliability is a bit premature?? For sure, Jaguars have always been known as 'you need two, one to drive and one in the auto shop'. But times change and so do cars. In my country, Jaguar is offering a 5 year warranty with this vehicle, which to me indicates they have some confidence in the reliability of this car. To end, all of this won't really concern me because I could never afford one! But if I had the money I would buy it, no problem. (I loathe SUV's!)
No. They waited to long to update what was a lackluster car to begin with. Now that it finally has an interior that doesn't look like an economy car, they take away the V6 and don't add the new I6. This car is speeding towards cancellation as it's already irrelevant. There is no reason to buy this over an A6, E-Class, 5-Series or G80 at this point. They're all better, higher quality, better engineered cars. An I6 version with 400hp and a new XFR V8 would have been great with this new interior, but an I4 only. Hard Pass.
Ugh, People and their SUV’s, I just don’t get it. I see them driving them and they look like soccer moms and dads. I’ll take a sedan and the hell w the kids, I just want to be alone and cruising
Would you buy the Jaguar XF over the competition? Let me know!
I did. LOVE it!
Yes! Dare to be the stylish one on the block.

If I didn't own an XF (X250, LCI, 2014) I'd definitely consider this facelifted XF. Gorgeous car, both inside and outside.

Unrelated but Jaguar XJL was perhaps the most beautiful sedan of the last 20 years at least
It definitely was
Good concise review, I like your style. Subbed!
Much appreciated - thanks for watching and subbing!

Who's going to buy the electric cars. If the ranges aren't 300 at least then it makes no sense e
