- 2021 Jaguar XF, pricey! Full review
In this video I reviewed the new 2021 Jaguar XF to find out Jaguar has changed for 2021.

Thanks to Mark at JLR Budds for making this happen:

I gotta say this. This review got me think so many times before i bought this car because how he reacted about the power of the car. Im not sure what he is actually trying to compare this car with but he made it sounds like freaking honda accord but to me, this car felt a lot faster than A6 45, 530i xdrive that i tested... and it was way cheaper than those 2 i was comparing. I maybe wrong but so far, i just love every single thing of this car. If i just wanted the power and speed, i would probably gone for Q50 or 60 Red sports but XF was my overall best pick after very long researching and testing.
Man the xf and f pace are some of the best looking vehicles. I’m really contemplating on getting one of these!
this was some high quality content. you deserve a lot more views. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
I have the 2014 XF, with the 3 litre V6 engine. Fast & comfortable. 👍
3L engine always fun and reliable
Well done, cool review to watch. I agree that it lacks power.
For now this is the best car review channel in my opinion.
Great review, Sam. Thank you. You’re question about why Jag didn’t offer a more powerful engine is spot-on. Very disappointing. I love the brand and have owned a Jag before. Was hoping to return to a Jag this Summer but unfortunately the lack of a bigger engine has taken the XF off my list. Heartbreaking.
Thank you
I mean who needs a bigger engine when gas prices are 6 bux a gallon 🤡
Thank You Sir For Awesome Review 😊
Did you drive it in Dynamic mode? I drive a 2017 XF 2.0 180bhp and the throttle response in the different modes is very different. I prefer ECO for day to day traffic and Dynamic on the Highway.
Awesome review
Great review 👍
this is an honest review , thanks
👍
Nice content. Could you also post a review about Volvo S60?
Great review Sam!
Thank you
@@SamCarLegion once I get my own drivers license, that will be my dream car
But sir you didnt showed back seats
Very informative video!
Thank you
What do you want with more Power without Autobahn?
Can you please tell us will it be the same for Indian Market
4 cyl engines only, Jaguar is insane... It will fail bc of that. They have a great I6 engine in the F-Pace, but don't put it in their sedans for no reason, extremely stupid...
I love Jaguar. It will not fall. Buy the v8s before you regret it. Collectors pieces
I have old school 2011 v8...love it
I have the 2013 XFR with a vented hood and 510 hp. Jag sedans are falling to the waste side like so many other cars. Toning down the power is a big miss on this series.
I agree i have 2013 xf and the same for me... my model is basic and it comes with 340 supercharged.. and trust me you feel the power
Bring back the v8s in the jag sedans
Because people are not buying them anymore, they buy the SUVs now and most will start to wind down the big gas guzzling engines to make way for electric. Big engine cars just don't sell anymore.
Very very nice video it is ....first it use to look bigger now it looks smaller than 5series and e class and .......i loved everything but engine is big problem now
Nice review! I just ordered a 2022 in Bluefire Blue and coming from a Maserati with 450hp, I could care less about the XF being a 4 cylinder. Especially when I'll be paying $6 per gallon for gas.
That's hilarious. That guy is driving 80 kph on on the highway, steps on the throttle for 2 seconds and is doing 120 kph. What's the point? You have a speed limit in Canada. What do you need more power for? I drive an XF Sportbrake P250 and that's going 0 -100 kph in 7 seconds and a top speed of 241 kph (150 mph). For a big sedan or station wagon I think that's fast enough. It's no sports car.
You need power when you overtake people that’s the difference
@@SamCarLegion Yes that's true. Here in Germany we never overtake each other with our 200+ hp cars. 😉
@@marcromankiewicz3871 you aren’t getting my point at all. Plus not everyone wants to drive a slow car behind granny ;)
@@SamCarLegion Sure, 300 horses are not enough to overtake granny if you can't drive. Your test drive was on the highway. Pretty difficult to overtake there. The point is, the Jag is a car for the sophisticated driver and not for a hooligan. And the point is, Jaguar needs to sell car on markets that are regulated to carbon dioxide emissions.
@@SamCarLegion This car is quick/fast enough. Plus, you have dynamic mode, when throttle response is quicker. Marc's points are spot on.
What! Both engine choices are 4 cylinder, and both are less than 300 hp. NO THANKS. I will keep my 2016 FXs. I love all 380 horses under my hood.
is there ambient lighting like in a mercedes?
They need to put the 400hp inline 6 in this.
Well even the V6 they always used sounded amazing
Got the 2017 V6. Couldn't imagine a 4 cylinder after this one.
I couldn't imagine taking a 2017 XF over a 2021 🤡
I own 2012 XF 2.2 GREAT CAR. RELIABLE ENGINE.
XF doesn’t look as good as XE, but they discontinued the XE in the US.
Pretty
Hopefully Jaguar will watch this and take note,. A smaller engine in a larger car doing more work, driven harder could wear quicker, I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong and it can take it.
Used car values may fall, so may be a cheap buy.
The infotainment system screen looks naff, it looks like an iPad or some other make of tablet stuck on the dash as an afterthought, I can see the dopey kids pulling this off the dash thinking it’s an iPad to play games on in the back seats! Please Jaguar integrate this in the dashboard for a neater look, it’s not modern styling it’s a cheap solution and afterthought add on.
Looks like someone forgot what they were doing when designing the car, the parts were ordered the car started being built and Jaguar had an “Oh shit! “Someone do something ”! moment.......just saying.......
In the UK the 21 model is £10k cheaper than last years model!
Me as a Canadian. I love that Canadian accent.
Thank you
his accent doesn’t sound canadian

One thing I learned by viewing car reviews recently: I wouldn t buy ANY car if taking into account all the negative reviews of it. Like with anything else. I came here for curiosity just to compare high budget car reviews and see how does "expensive" plastic interior looks like. Cause I m looking for much cheaper car. Just to find out that even powerfull cars are not enough powerfull 🤣🤣🤣. While I only need a secure vehicle to drive me from A to B, and not a race car but the funny thing is, no one ever mentions lack of space, uncomfortable sport seats, air cond control on even 11 inch tablet in expensive vehicles (what if it breaks?) - which is for example quite negatively reviewed for some c3 on it s 7 inch tablet 😁😁😁. I might not get it. 🙈
That car look ok
I own a 2013 one it is lovely
That's lovely for sure 👍.
How is it compared to the Audi a5 sportback?
Not even close
So the a5 is better?
Waiting on an answer
@@SamCarLegion did they remove the unique rotating air vents?
This car competes with the A6, not A5 ...
I looked up this review as I really liked this jaguar someone was riding in. But yikes low power when you excellerate. Not good. Really lovely outside amd interior tho
2017 xf 380 torque
Who saids thank you at 9 52
CAR Review: Jaguar model black 🇺🇸 amazing 🙂
I'm so sad they got rid of the supercharger I have a 2017 XF AWD and its great, to me personally power wise this was a disappointment bc i like the new look and new info system and everything and the headlights are excellent as well but i think ima just buy a 2020 XF s and call it a day if I want to get a newer model bc its still supercharged and has 380hp stock still :)
I think the only way for sedan to survive in nowadays is being sporty. Lack of performance is indeed a big shortage of this car.
Too expensive
I had a 2015 XFR - loved it. a turbo 4 in this car is a travesty, Terrible idea.
is it bulky car?
No. It’s very light. The architecture and body are made of aluminum.
That's way to much money for 4 cyl with 300hp, I thought Jag was supposed to be the Sporty luxury car company
Sam - What’s yours fav car?
Increased the price and give you less power then the previous model.Nice new styling inside and out ,but with that increase in price but getting less power.Sorry, but have to pass on this one.,😝
Is this just the XF or the XF sport?
R Dynamic
Ah ok I have a 2016 XF sport supercharged it’s deff got a lot of pick up on it this one didn’t seem like it that’s why I thought it’s possibly the regular xf tbh not much changed on the new ones compared to mine it’s a beautiful car though overall
Don't get u that's 295 bhp I've got a200 bhp more than enough power odd
Well said. But if you're picky not even a 300/400 bhp car is enough 😆.
So it has the same power as a Kia K5 ? And that car cost 37k. Lol. And it comes with more equipment. Besides AWD in that configuration.
But, yeah I'd go get the Kia instead.
Yes please do. Kia drivers in Ontario are weird, hardly have their lights on at night. Kia is pathetic. Watch some Scotty.
I think that they have ruined it.
I was considering picking a cat from the humane society and I thought can you have those as service animals if you have an allergy to dogs and monkeys are out of the picture because of monkeypox but I am afraid that this kind of cat that I would like to have this black cat would be very expensive for the water that it likes to drink and you would have to get insurance on this cat and it's like high maintenance but I sure would like to have this cat this black cat.
The oil that this cat likes for its diffuser what scent is that does the does this oil is it scented oil for that diffuser because that would be really nice if you were standing outside and inside of the car and it had a big diffuser and it would have scented oil that smelled like cherry blossom or lavender well maybe not lavender cuz you don't want to fall asleep while you're driving maybe like cotton candy sparkles or something to that effect.

4 cylinder only?....No thanks. For this price point, and for a "luxury" offering I want a 6 cylinder option!
14:03 Looks like you have hot-pink nail polish
Lol
😂
That is a shame for a Jaguar XF to have only 4-Cyl engine options when you have V8 470 - 550 hp previous XFs running around for over a decade. Who would buy this?? I can't blame JLR as much as the Climate Cultists (and China) have gotten their way; EVs for all---whether you want them or not. Please Jaguar, put the new inline 6 or the 400 hp hybrid in the XF or just kill the car already. I have a 2011 XJ with 90K miles and the V8 purrs smoothly; what a lovely and bulletproof motor the V8 is. I know its time has passed but I'd drive my XJ until it rusted away around me (if aluminum can rust) before I'd putz around in some 4-cyl XF.
Exactly Trevor. And every review of the XE or XF has said this. One cannot defend the 4-pot petrol engines given they output WORSE mpg than a BMW inline 6 with 374hp. You'd have to be mad to buy an XF compared to an m340i or a 540i which are similar money.
Also, did they stop making the ac vents that roll open & closed. It’s like the most unique feature & everyone is always impressed with it.
I would expect mor from a Jaguar . It looks like a Kia
And you don’t even get power .....nice job!
Maybe wash it before next time lol
60,000 for a 4banger!! I’ll pass””😅😅
Damn this is sad
Lol comparing an XF to an f-type... just non sense
Boring exterior. Boring interior. Boring engine. There is basically no reason to buy this car. You blew it Jaguar.
this is just a bland spec. The interior looks really great if you spec it well.
Stylish exterior. Nice interior. Fairly potent engine. These are good reasons to buy this car. Well done, Jaguar!
@@zsb707 Nobody is buying it, Gee, I wonder why?
@@bigmacdaddy1234 I would buy it if I didn't own a 2014 XF.
