Sadly I missed out on this because my auto cannons basically one shot her in about half a second. Hadn't tested them yet so now they stay off unless i'm in real trouble. Reloaded the save and haven't gotten it again yet. I steal every ship I can because it's soo easy but I want that one and the valentine.
I got this encounter today. I wanted to clarify a bunch of stuff I learned about the encounter. Firstly, the question most people wondered, "Can you board the ship?" That's a *no.* I always have EM on my ship, and I took out not only her Engines, but all systems completely. Her ship does have a Docker, I checked in photomode. And I tried activating the docking sequence both in and out of Targeting Mode. But no, the option to dock simply does not exist. Second, "What is her ship?" It's named the "Astraea". It's a Class C "Crimson Fleet Wight", which itself is a variant of the Class C "Crossbow". The Weight can be bought from Jasmine in the Key at Lv.26 for the base (I) version, and up to Lv. 72 for the III version. The Crossbow Is available for Purchase at at New Atlantis, New Homestead, and Gagarin Landing, along with possibly at other locations at Lv.22 for the base (I) version, and up to Lv. 72 for the III version. They all require Piloting 4 to fly. Alternatively, jumping between high-level systems and planets can cause Crimson Fleet pirates to attack you, and you may be able to hijack a Weight. Third, "Where is she?" She spawned at Kang III for me, but it is Random. As long as the location doesn't spawn a different encounter, and doesn't have something else hanging around like a bunch of SysDef ships or UC ships (so in un-controlled space to find her) then it's a possible spawn point. There are conditions. "What are her spawn conditions?" From what I can tell in both my experience with the game and checking the files in xEdit (QUST > 0032767C, "Conditions" lines) the only condition that seems to actually matter condition 2, GLOB 0004B1EE. It basically states that you have to have experienced >1 (More than 1) "encounter with Crimson Fleet Pirates looking for Revenge". So, if you have ran into 2 or more groups of Pirates after completing the Questline, she *_should_* become a possible encounter. "Is it bugged? I have 12,000+ hours on NG+ 27 and have never seen her." Maybe you do, but I also see people running into her on multiple playthroughs on PC and Xbox. I got my encounter organically, but the OP of this video did say on Reddit that he used a command to update that Condition we spoke of so he could get her to spawn more reliably. So It worked for me, but it's also a Bethesda title. So the answer here is "Who knows." Note that the "encounters with Crimson Fleet Pirates looking for Revenge" may be different from regular Crimson Fleet Pirate encounters, and I have no idea how to tell the difference. I never heard the Pirates state anything obvious like "Traitor" or "Die, Rook". "What is this mythical command that he used?" SetGS 0004B1EE to 2 That will make the game think that you had 2 encounters with Crimson Fleet looking for revenge. This does *_not_* cause Naeva to spawn, it simply makes it a possibility after you jump around more. It saves a bunch of time and makes it more likely. Note Commands (and possibly even pressing the ~ key) lock Achievements. So go to Nexus Mods and get an Achievement Enabler mod. There's 2 or 3, they're safe to manually install. I use the one called "Baka Achievement Enabler". "Did you record it?" Yes, I plan to upload it at some point.
Another missed opportunity by Bethesda, I think most of us would like to kill her and take the ship. I still play this game a lot and stuff like the ECS Constant and this are such good ideas that havo no follow through
For these space encounters, you got to just wait around and something might happen. And keep jumping to different planets and moons. A lot of varied encounters in Starfield's space.

@@D3vilB4sket That's exactly what I did. She was mean, rude and made it clear I had to do her work so she could profit off me. So, could say I treated her exactly how she treated me.
Dammit, I was waiting for that in my game, and it never happened. I guess it can't once you are beyond a certain point in the story. I'd love to get that, disable her ship, board it and make it personal, then fly away with her ship. Maybe with her as prisoner even, after all I have the functional brigs mod.

Due to a bug in one of my save games, I had to repeat the Crimson Fleet quest and decided to upset Naeva as much as possible. And it was fun!

Whether Naeva will spawn as an NPC if you disable and board the Astraea in this random encounter is unknown. I've only completed the Fleet questline once so far, in favor of SysDef and haven't encountered Naeva. I did have a random encounter with the dude who accompanied me on Suvorov after I got him kicked out of the Fleet. I didn't disable and board his ship though. I opted to blast him into dust.
( Possible SPOILER)Not so sure as, I have been able to disable pretty much any ship I have been in single combat with, other than Ma****( who also has a random encounter possibility) and even with the weapons powered way down I have been unable to get the engines disabled without it also deleting his ship
Everytime I do the Crimson Fleet I use stun weapons on Jasmine and the rest of the Key's main crew (even took her weapons off her). I liked Jasmine, but we always end up having to kill them all. I just wish there was a better option on saving them, hell we arrested the others no problem.
This. The game forces you to kill them all. Would've been cool if you could use your pull to convince SysDef to give them all a second chance under your watch, having them all as your crew. The game actually touches on giving criminals a second chance numerous times. Having a named NPC as a ship tech at one of my outposts, that can still give me the pirate ship equipment, would've been an awesome way for Bethesda to keep those a game option.
This would have been a hundred times better if it was an actual ambush. Eight ships jump in and it's the fight of your life. You can grav jump away and fight another day or go full Maverick and win one hell of a dogfight.

This does not happen
Theres a mod on nexus that gives you delgado shyna voss and nevas armour i think its called buffed starborn trader you can buy all the armour off them even your companions and mattaeos and walters and noels
One thing I hated about choosing SysDef was that you HAD to kill everyone on the Key!!! I didnt want to Kill Jasmine!!! I used an EM gun on her to knock her out but that didnt matter, they shouldve put in the option to do that and take them in. I woulda spared a bunch of Crimson Fleet NPCs like Jasmine, Samina, Bog... I hate that the only ones you get to save are Del and Shinya
They made their choices way before you came to the Key. Like some people you get arrested tell you later from their cells, "I would have died for the Fleet". Delgado was the most unlikely NPC to have convinced to surrender. I also think the devs should have given you an option not to kill the bartender. But they were all pirates, and loved their murderous way of life, so I don't think there was so much of a gray area with the Fleet. They didn't care if killed civilians while looting ships, the slates you bring to Toft clearly show that.
No you don’t. As soon as you get Delgado to surrender & he shuts down the bombs, that’s the end of all of it. You can just ignore everyone & go straight to Delgado.
Its moded content the scriptting has been edited but hands down have to admit its an awsome edit betshda needs to hire this person because quest content would be much better. But heres a fun fact i was messin about with the map looking at all the system names got to alpha andraste turned my controle right round and down and saw two places i never even noticed through the time ive been playing two places one called _Test1 and _ Test2 they are red systems but didnt even notice them till i zoomed right out of the map at andraste and pulled the controler right round and down and boom test1 and test2 you can go to them though but can view test2 its empty no planets at all as of yet
This, like so much of this game, is just wasted opportunity. This should have been a whole new damn quest line where shes trying to hunt you down, sending people after you, maybe even trying to ruin your reputation and get you in trouble with sysdef before closing in for the kill. Idk but a random space encounter where you cant even board and fight face to face? God its so dumb.
Sadly I will never get to see this scene. Every playthrough of the Sysdef quest line ends with Ikande trying to arrest me. He's so easily pissed off. And I have zero patience for his bullshit. So I always end up blasting my way off the vigilance and having to side with the CF.
So hilarious when these random NPCs in Bethesda games decide they can totally kill you by themselves AFTER they’ve already witnessed you killing MUCH more powerful threats than them 🤣 Like, they don’t even show the slightest hint of worry about the impossible odds they are facing. At this point you literally fought your way onto the Raider main base and slaughtered them all one by one while this character ran off and hid like a coward, and NOW she comes back 🤣 shoulda just stayed away. Or fought in the actual battle itself. Mighta had a better chance with her friends
I’m personally not a fan of her good out like this. I would have preferred her surviving and create a dlc around her rebuilding the fleet or joining forces with the 1st from the rangers plot to get revenge on you
@@joeness682 yea the way she calls you rook all the way until the end and the amount of recruits into the crimson fleet is absolutely tiny but hey, based voice acting

Hardly anything about the game makes sense in that regard , If you look at how much change we've experienced in the last 100 years . I would expect that in 300 years things like a heat pump would be scaled down to the size of a cell phone , and be integrated into spacesuits . Not for them to become less effective than they are today , how can poison in the environment effect you when you aren't even breathing it ? Because you're wearing a spacesuit with it's own air supply ? 300 years from now spacesuits will be less effective than a hazmat suit that we have now ? Do you think that Wokeness and gender affirmation are still going to be a thing in 300 years ? I live in Canada , and I have clothing rated for -60 . This game try's to tell me that a planet that has tropical growth is - 22 and that my spacesuit is failing and now I have frostbite . Complete nonsense is what I call it .

I'm on my third NG+ run haven't see her. So hoping to. Nice to know it's in the game so.
I did that, there is a ring!! This is a way! Anyone can be a member of the crew, Naeva's is also included in the crew, he does his work on my ship.
Ooh! I wonder if you can board & capture her ship? If so, it will be the crown jewel of my ship collection.
This would have been a hundred times better if it was an actual ambush. Eight ships jump in and it's the fight of your life. You can grav jump away and fight another day or go full Maverick and win one hell of a dogfight.
I. Have never run into this. Wow. I thought it would continue with a dlc. Now I know!
I have been flying blindly all over the systems forever, does anyone have any tips regarding how to help her find me? Orz
You cant i have been playing this game for 3,165.1 hours since release 12 ng+ and this never happens and she doesnt call you sysdef she always refers to you as rook ive said it before ill say it again these things can be moded into the game and anyone can altet the words a ai is scripted to say im a ex dev and pc engineer and i have to admit while id like this to be in the game the only place neava is gonna turn up is in the dlc shatterd space to get revenge on you your companions and sysdef and its possible they may make het a starborn just like they did with walter on one of the ng+ he says his self from another universe told him to expect me buy the lodge and sell me the artifacts and the rest of the info constellation had found for 100.000.000 credits but to answer the question in ome word no.
This does not happen
I thought it would be on a base where you have to kill Naeva Mora or on a planet or in outer space
Can you disable the ship, board it and kill Neeva in person?
I hope so, I want her armor
Theres a mod on nexus that gives you delgado shyna voss and nevas armour i think its called buffed starborn trader you can buy all the armour off them even your companions and mattaeos and walters and noels
I actually killed no one on the key knocked them all out got dell to surrender and you still get the same dialog with her
One thing I hated about choosing SysDef was that you HAD to kill everyone on the Key!!!
Exactly how I feel. Hated killing Jasmine and Bog.
Can you steal her ship?
Goddamn I've tried 3 playthroughs to successfully fuck the fleet, and the game literally crashes every time I board the key
The fleet never forgets 🤬
Can you board the ship during the battle
I have YET to find it
If you board it can you get her outfit?
What system did you encounter Naeva in????
Its moded content the scriptting has been edited but hands down have to admit its an awsome edit betshda needs to hire this person because quest content would be much better.
But heres a fun fact i was messin about with the map looking at all the system names got to alpha andraste turned my controle right round and down and saw two places i never even noticed through the time ive been playing two places one called _Test1 and _ Test2 they are red systems but didnt even notice them till i zoomed right out of the map at andraste and pulled the controler right round and down and boom test1 and test2 you can go to them though but can view test2 its empty no planets at all as of yet
can you get her outfit after killing her?
I feel that. I aint no Sysdef snitch. Crimson fleet to the death lol.
"we gave you a home" damn, that was deep 😢
How'd you activate this???
Crimson fleet is a joke. UC Navy would have annhilated that stupid fleet with 1 cruiser. Its such pooor writing. Its just thieves guild in space.
So where were you when this happened?
I hate the opening dialogue choices are so... polite?
So hilarious when these random NPCs in Bethesda games decide they can totally kill you by themselves AFTER they’ve already witnessed you killing MUCH more powerful threats than them 🤣
Like, they don’t even show the slightest hint of worry about the impossible odds they are facing.
I would have preferred her surviving and create a dlc around her rebuilding the fleet or joining forces with the 1st from the rangers plot to get revenge on you
You wipe out the 1st in the Ranger storyline lol. Makes 0 sense😂
@@elijahbrooks1472 there could still be remnants.
Why cant you lead ANY faction?.... there is nothing to work towards in this game...
:O one of the 5 people willing to side with the real bad guys.
Rare example of great starfield voice acting
Agree, as much as everyone seems to hate Naeva, she's one of my favorite characters just because her VA is some of the best in game.
@@joeness682 yea the way she calls you rook all the way until the end and the amount of recruits into the crimson fleet is absolutely tiny but hey, based voice acting
Nah, see many characters in the game game amazing va
@@amitansurkar1769People are just hating for the sake of it. Larry dumbrosky was voiced by the legendary Stephen Russell, he's better than ever. Evgeny Rokov was voiced by the man that voiced Ulfric Stormcloak in skyrim. Both characters are in a crimson fleet story mission.
@@KaiserGbL3 ya exactly, Starfield has so many amazing voice acting honestly, even. The lady at galbank on new atlantis, she is my favourite side character, apart from constellation members, her actress did a great job too, and I can't even begin to tell u how good hunter's voice and voice actor is
She's the most annoying character in the game. The devs should have allowed us to board this ship.
TBH I was actually kinda upset I had to kill Jasmine... reading her comp logs shows that she jut wanted to protect Naeva. Although the quest itself doesn't leave any actual consequences it was one of the few that left me feeling like I should've chosen the fleet. For sure on my next NG+
SIS DEF lmao
I'm mildly curious why she says she'll send you to "Hell" hundreds of years in the future. If some old earth ideas carried forward, I would expect the language to change over time like in Firefly with "gorram". Still, nice video. Appreciate seeing the outcome.
Lol dooty
She's so annoying lol
Seriously deleted my comment explaining how you did it tut tut never dissed you or anything just explained it was modded and scripts rewritten and any game dev knows that as stated in my other comment youve removed this is something i will expect to see in the upcoming dlc shattered space neava getting revenge on sysdef and the player
I didn't delete anything. And I did not use any mods or rewrite scripts.
I used the console to trigger this event, yes. But I only changed one global variable that is used as a condition ("set 0004B1EE to 2"), nothing else. From what I can see, Naeva should appear after two simpler random encounters with ordinary pirates seeking revenge.
I see no indication that this content was cut from the game. So I'm 99% sure this is a bug. Or this encounter is really very rare.
@@TERAB2T ah ok so youve basically triggered an hidden event that they are obviously going to be using in the dlc that would explain there size of there patches
@@MsWolf1978 No, I don't think so. This event is not hidden. It's added to the event list, it's fully functional. Just bugged or very rare.
You can check it yourself with SF1Edit: Quest \ 0032767C (Naeva's Revenge) i.imgur.com/gOFoXTD.png
@@TERAB2T hmm weired its deffinatly active but no trigger event is attached to it strange why bethsda would do that the only thing i can see in the code is a 48 hout cool period in which it could only activate under set conditions of the games code but obviosly isnt triggering within the 48 hours of taking the.fleet down thats the first time ive seen unicode 8 used this way i think you may have actually stubbled on a glitched part of the quest that is meant to trigget at a set period but doesnt due to a bug i personally would contact bethsda and ask why this event doesnt trigger maybe they will say if theres something you have to do in game to trigget it such as doing so many of the cf quests which i havnt done from there mission boards even though they still claim to have paid me lol but dunno what for as i did no cf queasts so that could possibly be a cause of it not triggering im not sure as i cant see anything in the event that triggers it apart from the 48 hour period which if im guessing right thats when the event is meant to activate the same as when you get mathis kicked out the fleet 48 hours game goes by and he comes in to attack you i see simularitys in code for mathis and the event youve discovered but i cant see any trigger type that triggers it unless bethsda cut it out but left the code in for a.future update thats all i can think.they may have done
I have gotten this random encounter twice on Xbox and this was before mods were out I always thought it was just rare
Even this is boring.
The response options are predictably LAME, god Starfield really knows how to disappoint.
Upgrading your pistol skill increases pistol skill.
Man u haters scums are predictably lame af....... Haters sure know how to 🤡..... I don't understand y is Starfield still living in ya head rent free?
