'Joji, on the other hand, you can actually understand what he says' I mean there's usually subs just press CC button, but even songs in English people look up to find the meaning of the lyrics so.. you probs watch Japanese films with subs so why not Korean music? Alot of people even protest against dubbing Japanese stuff so you should appreciate whatever language a song is in imo. I'm also learning Hangal (Korean) so I'm able to understand some songs and of course I have to look up word play and what lyrics are referencing because I didn't grow up experiencing the politics and social issues in South Korea. Even though I'm central Asian and try to have a pan-asian mindset so I do my best to learn about what's happening in the continent. Plus Korean music was made for Korean people long before bts ever existed lol.
You mentioned 'and he has a personality.' JoJi has a media personality just like anyone else in the public eye like, the guy even has an agent/manager and probs does his best to not lose his target market share and attention from brands that might sponsor him in the future or now.
