- There have been more volcanic eruptions on the Caribbean island of St Vincent, with thousands of people seeking safety in government shelters. (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)
Heavy ashfall from the La Soufriere volcano has clogged the island's water and sewer systems, raising concerns that water supplies could run out altogether.

I have been to St Vincent twice and the place was like paradise on earth with the nicest of people, prayers goes out those wonderful people.

Shame on the international community for failing to be more responsive to such a disaster, given the huge number of people affected and displaced. Fast forward 2 weeks and people will really start to feel ill from the toxic effects of the ash, lack of water and food. Channel 4 should be following up with relevant organizations to find out what they are doing and when will it arrive. Clearly the SVG government are doing their best but at this level proper intervention is needed to save SVG lives. #SVGLivesMatter

Yeah the masks are actually useful in this situation. They don't stop viruses they are just a symbol of your conformity with authority. Put them to use properly, stop breathing ash!

Pamella, there are many in U.S prayjng for them from a group called Saved to Serve. The pastor of the group interviewed a couple on St. Vincent who had to flee their home near the volcano, they went to in laws home. They told us what was going on.
