Sorry, you don’t think I should have painted the frame? Or you think I should have powder coated? Couldn’t afford the powder coat. Went with what I could do.
@@ScottRansons o for sure paint the frame, but for me I would of stripped the frame , treated with OSPHO... I am in the middle of my rebuild on my 2000 CR500 . Painting with the cans is fine, if you know how to paint.. there will varying degrees for people . I also would of put clear coat on the frame. Bro not bashing you . I think you are knowledgeable for sure . BTW good job. I understand the bike is a flip for you..for me? I will keep my bike, will not be long and those bikes will bring big money. Hold on to her ... she is special. It will be one of the most sought after bikes of all time
thats such a weird style mount for the stabilizer, mine was bolted onto the sides
Yeah OG aftermarket steering mount bracket.
Yeah, they used to be bolt on, then weld on, and now that all frames are aluminum for dirtbikes they are bolt on again. Crazy!
Totally disagree with you painting of the frame.. I was a painter ... and man with a little bit more effort
