I love my fj cruiser. I bought it brand new in 2008. It's the best car ever. I've had mustangs, barracuda, chargers and challenges. This car surpasses all! I've only had regular maintenance and had to replace the alternator. Which was my fault because I let the battery expire. The car is so great, I forgot to check. The first battery lasted over eight years!❤❤❤❤❤l will keep her forever!!!!
Well I got mine 2914 and not a rust bucket , not only that it’s a collectible , everyone I go to Toyota they try to buy it back for the customers are in high demand 🤷🏻♂️! But I love it and have had 0 problems w it
2007 here. No rust and they aren't known for being rust buckets so I don't know where that came from. Maybe in the salt belt if you don't know how to use a car wash. I'm in north idaho and love it. Had to change the timing chain and cv axles but I do it all myself anyways
Try it again ? Well the first one was an epic failure ..Under powered and thirsty . The last ones sat on dealer lots for almost a year because they couldn't get rid of them. Certainly not a very good approach with Toyota's already tarnished reputation for quality and reliability😢

But I think the FJ cruiser was a great vehicle. Mine was my favorite vehicle ever, and I regret trading it in.
