There’s a Wendy’s x Tim Hortons in SE Michigan. It’s always so confusing figuring out which drive-thru is for which restaurant.
We used to have a Hardee’s/Red Burrito (like Carl’s Jr./Green Burrito) in Columbia, SC but now it’s just Hardee’s. I’ve definitely been there, but don’t remember if I tried the Red Burrito. 🌯

There is a Taco Bell/KFC in a small town that I used to live in in Michigan but I wish I had a Dunkin' & Baskin Robbins combo!
If you ever find yourself near kansas city there's a combination kfc taco bell that has 3 stories. I think technically it's in overland park KS.

I’m Puerto Rican and I actually worked at the 3-1 location. In my time it was the no. 1 busiest store on the Island and it made more from the Taco Bell and Pizza Hut than most singular stores (over 5 million a year in sales in my time). My boss Jorge Landing is still the GM there (as I last heard) and he is the one who taught me everything that I know. A great store and the crew back then became life long family til this day. I miss that store ❤️🇵🇷

Don't know about the pricing part. A&W is notoriously expensive where I'm from. But I do agree on the quality. Top notch.
I feel like the price doesn't exactly reflect the quality/it's still fairly overpriced though.

I grew up in a small town in Texas that had a combo Taco Bell-Pizza Hut-KFC. We called it Taco Chicken Hut. I believe it’s still open, minus the Pizza Hut. There was also an A&W-Long John Silver’s in a town nearby.

I am from Bedford! My uncle actually worked at that long John silvers and Taco Bell. So awesome to have someone local we enjoy watching so much!
I’ve worked at a target for years and me and one of my bosses would always order breadsticks at the Pizza Hut express and she would bring in nacho cheese sauce for us and it was so good. Probably just because it was something different, but I have some fond memories of that

This is fascinating! I wasn't expecting a history of combo restaurants but you definitely delivered. We need more Dunkin and Baskin Robbins combos. Doughnuts and ice cream are a winning combination.
We have a lot of them here in NYC. Nearly every Baskin Robbin’s here is a combination of Dunkin. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen a stand alone Baskin Robbin’s.

@therealsamreid The part @12:55 here in Indiana it is normal for us to eat the Pizza Hut bread sticks with cheese sauce. I worked at my local pizza hut years back. I use to order the cheese, unload the truck and some times warm it up so we could server it. Since it is the same cheese from taco bell it some times ended up at my house bags of it lol.

Used to have a 3 in 1 Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC about 15 minutes from my childhood home in San Antonio. Was always a go to on Friday night sleepovers when no one could agree on food.

In the town I grew up in we had a combinition LJS and KFC, I have 4 brothers, so my Dad would always get a ton of fish and chicken.
For a few years I actually thought this was a standard thing, and as we moved to the south I assumed the reason we had just standalone KFC's were that cheap fish was just harder to get down here. I realized as I got older that didn't make too much sense, but I miss the combos we used to come up with. My mom was never a big fried chicken fan, so my Dad had to get both every time we went lol

I am lucky enough to have a KFC and Long John Silver’s combo about 10 minutes from where my girlfriend lives, and we have made some sick combinations…
On Long Island Ny we had an LJS and A&W sit down only restaurant that was huge. They had booths that were made of retro cars and had car shows in the parking lot every weekend. Miss that place! Now I just have an A&W and KFC by me

I grew up with a combo Wendy's and Tim Horton's right next to me growing up in Columbus, Ohio. It is absolutely beautiful and I blame it for my Wendy's/Tim Horton's addiction to this day.

I remember Carl's Jr. and Green Burrito as a kid. Never realized it was a combo restaurant as it seemed ALL Carl's Jr in my area had that setup. Always thought it was some weird submenu at the place.

We had a Taco Bell-Pizza Hut where I grew up in Hales Corners, WI. IT lasted like 3-5 years I feel like. It was only a Taco Bell last time I was there a few years ago. The only problem was, there was only personal sized pizzas there. Kind of a miss, but oh well!

the funny thing about the shrimp cgc being the best combo is that del taco has (had?) a menu item similar to it! it was called the Original Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Stuffed Quesadilla Taco. i wonder if they're trying to fill the long john silver/taco bell combo menu-shaped hole in people's hearts.

We moved to Indiana from PA, we've stopped at that Wendys Timmys location several times on the way home. Growing up, i used to go to an A&W LJS combo often.
the Long John SIlver and A&W in my town has combo items, its normally just the burger with fish added to it or the Fish platter with either a chicken tender or a beef patty added to it

Hey hey, Here in Layton Utah, we still have an Orange Julius/Dairy Queen Combo in the mall, and a Carl's Jr./Green Burrito combo just a couple minutes north of it. Little bit further North in Roy we also still have a KFC/A&W combo.
God, I miss Long John Silvers. I remember going there all the time during Lent. Was it particularly good food? probably not. But I still feel a great nostalgia for the inside of the restaurants and having food with family.
Staunton, VA had a LJS/A&W but it caught fire. They reopened but only as LJS.

Oh man, this bringing up the kentacohut gives me some flashbacks. There used to be one on the drive to see my grandparents and the first time I went in it the combination of smells from the different restaurants made me violently ill and I vomited all over the front entrance. Until that location closed my family always brought it up when we drove past it.

Crazy! My parents live in Poquoson! Yes, there actually was a KenTacoHut. The building you see pictured was built for that purpose and was a KenTacoHut for a number of years. After it vanished a few different restaurants have gone into the space. But Sam, I have to 'correct' yah; The Schooners that is in the space now is awesome!! Great pizza, burgers and wings so it definitely makes up for the KenTacoHut not being there!

I have been to a Burger King combined with a Popeyes in Atlanta, GA before, the inside looked like the two franchises were pushed together and there were two lines one for each restaurant and it was cool to be in there as a kid 😊
Tip for everyone bored of fast food. Tip. You can combine foods from ANY restaurants as long as they are within 5-10 min driving distance.

I don't know if there are others like this in the country, but I always thought it was such a strange, yet interesting combo. P.S. There used to be a Pizza Hut - Taco Bell close by as well, but sadly it's just the latter now. However, I am lucky enough to be near a Dunkin' Donuts - Baskin-Robbins, so I may have to try your creation!
