Where should I go for the best wings when I come to your state??? PS - here's the link to get 50% off your first box from Factor (use code REVUE50): bit.ly/465dxwC
Try Howlin’ Rays in Pasadena California! Probably the spiciest chicken I’ve ever had. Juicy and crispy too! The original restaurant is in Chinatown LA which has more reviews.
Super impressed with the quality and turn around time of this video. Based on the games on the tvs behind you much of this being filmed in the last 5-7 days is SUPER impressive.
kochix is 15 minutes away from the lincoln memorial, thus hurting the final quality of the bird due to the wait time. I demand a rematch on behalf of dc
Express Wings was indeed a majorly bad representation for Delaware. Before you said what you had chosen, my mind went racing with all the excellent possibilities it could be. But when I heard you mention Express, a location I live about 10 minutes away from, my heart completely sank. They are far from the top offerings the state has. As a life-long local, the two recommendations I'd make for DE are Miltonian Pizzaria & Wing House for Southern DE, and James Street Tavern for Northern DE. Both very distinct styles with amazing sauce flavors. Kid Shelleens is also a popular pick up north. But as I said there are many great choices. Oh well, maybe next time!
Hands down, this is one of the most amazing series of videos I never knew that I truly needed to view in my life. BRAVO ! I can't wait to see how it all ends. You are a true champion !
Once you make it to Illinois, you need to try this local, family owned and ran home in the wall spot called Chicken Lit in Naperville. I've never read wings like this anywhere in the country. They use a family recipe to batter and fry the wings, and provide all kinds of sauces on the side for dipping so you don't get soggy wings.
I discovered this channel like 2 weeks ago and I swear I've binged like 40 of your videos since. There's just something relaxing, comforting, and genuine about you, your presentation, and delivery. Thanks for making these videos and providing me with a reprieve from the struggle that is real life.
Your content not only doesn't ever disappoint, but it somehow always exceeds my already high expectations. Thank you for all the work that you put into these, they're genuinely such a joy to watch!
I started watching your channel after that taco bell video and now you are honestly one of my favorite content creators out there!! I love the authenticity and the commentary of your journey, it’s very captivating and I’m never bored watching your videos!!!
Imagine making fun of Sam’s suit. That’s like the trademark of his videos. Wouldn’t be a Sam Reid video without the formal analysis from the desk. Gotta love it
Eating wings in the basement at Dovers is one of the coolest experiences possible. The history and atmosphere are amazing, plus the wings are top-notch. Totally agree with you scoring breakdown and definitely look forward to watching the entire series. Well done!
heres another comment about how incredibly well-produced and detailed your videos are, and how clearly your time and effort shine through. great work man. if popularity and an upward trajectory of subs is your goal, stay the course!
If you ever decide to do a rerun of PA, please consider Center Street Grille in Enola. The place *looks* like a real hole in the wall, but they're home of really excellent restaurant grade food, AND their wings are highly rated; even consistently placing high in the National Buffalo Wing Festival each year!
NORTH CAROLINA- Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria in Huntersville NC. Get the Spicy Garlic Parm wings (they aren’t really spicy just a great wing) and get the classic Buffalo wing you won’t regret going here. Also don’t go on a Bills gameday, you won’t get a seat
My hot take is that bigger wings are usually not better. They seem to get more gristle when they’re bigger. I usually prefer a medium size wing. Also Sam - we recently moved to Buffalo and can’t wait to see your adventures here!
Let’s go been waitin 3 weeks for this series 😂😂 safe travels brother an make sure you come to northern Kentucky an go to hometown hero’s cool people/atmosphere an pretty great food !!
This guy deserves every bit a views. I cant wait to see what restaurant wins this. You definitely have to visit Knuk-N-Futz in kentucky, best wings I've ever had.
People want to complain about anything, they need to get over their stuff. You did a great job addressing the haters. Your wing reviews are the MOST in-depth ones I've seen! Keep it up!
So glad you got to sit in the basement at Drover’s. I should have mentioned that in my first comment. Solid review and I agree about the texture of their wings. Spot on
When you make your way to South Carolina, you absolutely HAVE to try the Spicy Pterodactyl wings from the Publick House in Columbia. My dad took me there a few years ago, and I was so blown away that I introduced my friends to this spot and it immediately became a weekly tradition because they’re so incredible.
North Dakota: The Parrots Cay in Grand Forks has excellent wings! Great homeade buffalo sauce in many heat levels. Grand Forks is right on the North Dakota/Minnesota border, too, so you wont have to travel deep into the state.
Indiana (Indianapolis) - The Tap - Sweet Thai Chili wings. You won't be disappointed. Even better than Ale Emporium (which I'm sure will be on many of your lists)
If you decide to come to the PNW, you definitely have to visit Vindicktive Wings in Seattle. The guys who own it are originally from Buffalo, NY and they are doing it right. Bonus: the bathrooms are Christmas themed.
When you hit Ohio, please consider Winking Lizard. It's a local Northeast Ohio chain. I'd go with Goldfinger for a mild sauce, Thai for medium, and 911 for hot but still having good flavors. For even smaller ones but awesome breweries too, try Fatheads and Brew Kettle. Cheers!
I love when you address the funny comments and people calling you out on random stuff. Always makes me laugh - people have such strong opinions about stuff that doesn't matter lol
When you finally find yourself in Buffalo, please don't order ranch with your wings. As someone from the region, there is a non-zero chance they will spit in your food.
having fun with the vid lol dont stress the negative comments, cool series man. insane to see you covered dirty buffalo in norfolk. went to that place all the time in college.
I’m from upstate New York in Syracuse about 2-3 hours from Buffalo, every year there is a wing fest in Syracuse with some really amazing places. I recommend stopping by for at least one of the best you can find in Syracuse. I recommend the Blarney Stone! They are very know for there wings and it’s a hometown classic Irish bar.
I recommend Local Cue in Greenville SC, some of the best(and biggest) smoked wings I've ever had in my life! Sauces come on the side and you can select multiple.
Your scoring system is perfectly fine, Sam, you've given yourself plenty of room to award scores in the mid-90s to wings should they be deserving. I suspect we'll see at least a couple, probably when you get to Buffalo.
When you make it to Minnesota there is a place called The Thirsty Moose in a smaller town called Hibbing. I will die on this hill for the best wing place in the state! So many flavors, you cant choose a bad one!
When you make it to Washington - Vindicktive Bar and Wings. Best in Seattle and probably the whole state. Make sure to pay the bathroom a visit for it's unexpected decor.
Delawarean here, you made a great choice. Hope you had a great time in our small state! And yes, Anthony's is a chain and you also made the right choice there.
You'll probably see a lot of suggestions for Jethro's BBQ in Des Moines for IA, but Blind Pig in Cedar Rapids and Big Grove in Iowa City are good, too. Great video!
interesting thing I noticed with people rating things, some people see it like a equivalent to a letter grade where a 50 would be dismal failure, and others see it as a scale of things, meaning a 50 would be satisfying but not above mid range.
As a fellow wings connoisseur, I have been to drover’s about 40 times in my life (3-4 times a year for the last 10 years on average) I live in Oregon and have yet to find a wing that is as superior and gives me that satisfaction as eating a drovers wing. I am from the northern panhandle and I can’t wait to try to find the elusive wing for me in Oregon
When you come to Missouri, skip St. Louis and Columbia and had straight to the Peanut in downtown KC. It is a local chain to just the KC area with like 3 locations across the Metro but the wings and the vibes are 10/10
This series is amazing! When you go to Indiana, I recommend Between the Buns. It's in a town of 4,000 people, really nice dive bar small town feeling. The hotter than hot sauce will not be very hot compared to other wings sauces you've tried so far, but the flavor is really nice. Parking lot is always full.
This guy should easily have half a million followers. The algorithm is failing. Great content, editing, sound. Sam even puts a suit on for heaven sakes!!! Wtf do you have to do??
When you make it to the south, go to the Brickhouse Pub and Grub. It's located in Eatonton, Georgia. Try their nashville hot, you won't be disappointed.
For when you happen to visit Wisconsin. Chicken Licks, Sun Prairie, WI And, Points East Pub, Milwaukee, WI These are the two best places I've found in the state.
You need to come to yards brewing company in Philadelphia. They have something called a green long hots wing which is very unique and very good. You can only find that flavor wing in Philadelphia.
When you come to Alabama the best wings iv had in my life came from Annie Maes wings in Warrior, Alabama. You couldn't get any more local than this place. It's in a shed turned into a walk up restaurant behind McDonald's.
Coach’s Corner in Savannah, GA. Great wings and vibes.
Two spots for FL:
Bethune Grill in Daytona Beach
Candlelight South Restaurant in St. Augustine
Buffalouies in Bloomington when you hit Indiana!!!
Candlelight Inn in Scarsdale, NY
The commentary, the rankings, the dedication, the suit, the anchorman references... This series is a 10/10.
Thank you!! 🙌🏼
Super impressed with the quality and turn around time of this video. Based on the games on the tvs behind you much of this being filmed in the last 5-7 days is SUPER impressive.
Thanks for noticing - I’m impressed you caught that!
kochix is 15 minutes away from the lincoln memorial, thus hurting the final quality of the bird due to the wait time. I demand a rematch on behalf of dc
these are review of highly rated wing locations, not sure why people would think some would score terribly.
Express Wings was indeed a majorly bad representation for Delaware. Before you said what you had chosen, my mind went racing with all the excellent possibilities it could be. Came to the comments to see if anyone else recommended Kid's.... best wings in northern Delaware followed by Dom's Pizza in Newport.
Hands down, this is one of the most amazing series of videos I never knew that I truly needed to view in my life. BRAVO ! I can't wait to see how it all ends. You are a true champion !
As someone who lives in Norfolk, Dirty Buffalo Cajun Wings are basically my family's addiction, so I'm glad to see you liked them so much
Adding eating wings with Sam Reid to bucket list, preferably the ones at a Taco Bell
The ones at Waffle House are better
The Mid-Atlantic is very accurate description. I've lived my whole life here and it is commonly used for the region.
Damn those wings do look good
I discovered this channel like 2 weeks ago and I swear I've binged like 40 of your videos since. There's just something relaxing, comforting, and genuine about you, your presentation, and delivery. Thanks for making these videos and providing me with a reprieve from the struggle that is real life.
So happy to see that you went to Pic A Lilly’s in Shamong and you really enjoyed them ! Love your channel , Sam !
I havent found anywhere in south jersey that beats the pic
Your content not only doesn't ever disappoint, but it somehow always exceeds my already high expectations. Thank you for all the work that you put into these, they're genuinely such a joy to watch!

Yeah

Hell yeah. They do not play about their wings there. Love them
Hmmm...gotta check this place out.
THE BEST WINGS I’VE EVERRRRR HAD - Epic Wings in Orange County, California! Literally by far the best…you seriously need to try them 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🤤🤤🤤
The PIC is goated!!!
Sam your vids are one of a kind, I love your series and food reviews, they are like no other, you keep going man
Dude!!! So happy you went to Picalilli! that was my childhood spot, whenever i go back to visit family in NJ i go there. Love that place man.
My hot take is that bigger wings are usually not better. They seem to get more gristle when they’re bigger. I usually prefer a medium size wing.
Also Sam - we recently moved to Buffalo and can’t wait to see your adventures here!
Can't wait for your video
Welcome to buffalo!!!
Hope you enjoy it!!
100% agree. Bigger wings are usually worse
I live in Kentucky and would like to check this place out. Where is it?
@@mrdereksutton it is in Taylor Mill KY
People want to complain about anything, they need to get over their stuff. You did a great job addressing the haters.
Your wing reviews are the MOST in-depth ones I've seen! Keep it up!
Get this man more subscribers!! The content is always incredible and consistent. Keep up the good work brother
So glad you got to sit in the basement at Drover’s. I should have mentioned that in my first comment. Solid review and I agree about the texture of their wings. Spot on
Your videos are greats. Glad to see your channel growing. Keep up the awesome videos.
In my almost 15 years of RUclips experience, Sam should have been at a mil 6 months. Hope he blows up soon.
For North Carolina, I highly recommend Jimmy the Greek in Winston-Salem
Thank you for those closing words, really needed it, love your work!
North Dakota: The Parrots Cay in Grand Forks has excellent wings! Great homeade buffalo sauce in many heat levels. Grand Forks is right on the North Dakota/Minnesota border, too, so you wont have to travel deep into the state.
Also, keep the suit.
As soon as I saw this series I knew he had to go there
Indiana (Indianapolis) - The Tap - Sweet Thai Chili wings.
OMG Thank you for this comment I am in WA now and from Buffalo, and been trying to find good wings here
When you hit Ohio, please consider Winking Lizard. It's a local Northeast Ohio chain. I'd go with Goldfinger for a mild sauce, Thai for medium, and 911 for hot but still having good flavors.

I love this series. It's like one bite pizza reviews but more depth.
Pic-A-Lilli Inn is a South Jersey staple. Incredible wings. Great video!
FLORIDA - DOMU. It’s a Ramen place but they have the best wings in the state. There is one in Jacksonville and 2 in Orlando. Love this series!
Wait so could the chance be 1%?
100% agreed from a Buffalo native. Ranch is not used here. Blue cheese is. Rooties to be exact .
Hey I'm like really stoned randomly eating wings and just found this, wanted to say thanks for making my Friday night
anyone from south jersey? 👋🏼
Yea
How are u only at 72k subs. I am shocked. The quality of this series has been easily on the level of the 500k+ sub channels.

OH suggestion, can't speak for the rest of the state but in cincinnati knockback Nats for traditional wings and Lucky dog Cafe for smoked whole wings.
Despite us not being a hub for food, we have pretty good wings in WV. Glad you got to watch us beat TCU!
Your scoring system is perfectly fine, Sam, you've given yourself plenty of room to award scores in the mid-90s to wings should they be deserving. I suspect we'll see at least a couple, probably when you get to Buffalo.
This series is AWESOME!!! Please don't cancel it, homie!
No plans to cancel it! Just takes a while to plan each leg of the trip 😊
you really do your job, dang. Glad MD wings got a decent score, enjoy the rest of your road trip dude!
Started watching a year ago and still feel that your vid’s are underrated. Keep it up man!

Hattricks in Tampa bay! Get them Dave's way and extra crispy - trust me when they're on point they're hard to beat!
When you come to Missouri, skip St. Louis and Columbia and had straight to the Peanut in downtown KC. It is a local chain to just the KC area with like 3 locations across the Metro but the wings and the vibes are 10/10

Crosstown Pub and Grill - Naperville/Batavia ILLINOIS!!
Shut up sauce and sucka punch are my favorite, get the wings naked!
Glad to see NY get it's own region. Bar Bill in Buffalo is the gold standard of wings
Dude all of your videos are so good idk how you don't have 10x as many followers as you do. I have a feeling you'll get there quick, though.
In missouri you have to try
CJs - Columbia
Truman’s - Columbia
Ohanas - Fulton
Post office bar & grill- Fulton
Please let me know when you choose to come to Iowa , I’d love to get wings with you someday 🙏🏻 it’d be an honor

When in Indiana: Chicken Scratch (local, on North Keystone Ave. in Indianapolis) - get the sweet chili wings.
Dspot in the cities in Minnesota, they have like 80 wing flavors and even desert wings! I love these videos and your channel!
Hackett Hot Wings in Joplin, Missouri has a beer buffalo sauce thats one of my favorites Ive had. Super good.
