The OnePlus Nord 3 continues the affordable but powerful lineup of smartphones with one that is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 -- and I'm having a pretty good time with it. From the performance of the OnePlus Nord 3 to the features in Oxygen OS, there is plenty to like in this MediaTek powered phone!

Good review Josh. Can you please tell the model of the watch you are wearing in this video?
Gesture control still works if you use the Nova Launcher?
I like the fact that it comes with a charger.
Great job 👍🏼. As usual.
I still have the original Nord and it's still going strong everyday. Great to see Oneplus upgrading the Nord 3 series
Same. Best phone I've ever owned, literally got better with age. Making me feel guilty for wanting the Nord 3 but I'm gonna make the jump just because it seems rediculous to go 3 years with one phone. Also because they've finally launched their store in Australia that ships a proper AU 80W charger. Been using an adapter for my Nord that sparks on the wall every time and has left burn marks on it.
Pozz! Is this mask in standard packaging or...?
Alert slider is a must, it's so convenient. I'm planning on switching from my OP9 Pro to Nord 3 due to budget plans (which includes my PC build lol). It's a great phone to consider!
Hi there.
Would you know what's the latest Oxygen OS version now?
Planning on getting this phone this weekend due to a discount. Works you say the phone is worth it after all these months of updates? Many thanks.
Can you please do a comparison with Pixel 7 please thanks !
What is the Green Light Line on the Oneplus Nord 3 5G Screen?. 1. The scrolling speed is not smooth when going to Auto in the settings, 2. The rear camera Macro Lens is not as clear as if it is a little blurry. Question from me, does anyone know about the issue regarding the information of this incident. That's all I have to say, thank you
Its battery is good?
No USA release☹.
My problem with the Nord line was that I had the first, and after like 6 months updates REAL slowed down, even if you were in their group for early/test access.
I can confirm being an everyday user on the original Nord, the firmware updates are still consistent. Sometimes they are delayed compared to other devices, however I am no longer upset about this due to battery life taking a hit every single time I installed the latest firmware. I am quite tech savvy and by no means use my phone in a malicious manner so the security updates don't phase me all that much and I just ignore them for the most part now. I like to get a full life out of my phones, not be sold into a newer model due to firmware updates the phones specs can't handle.
I love my Nord 3 ❤
I bought this phone few days ago and I have to say I really like It so far ...but i have to warn people ..here in Europe (Slovak Republic) there is NOT original case in box!!! You have to buy separated. And another thing is I have matte grey version, it is fingerproof but for me at least is very slippery..it really needs case for better grip. But other of that the Nord 3 is great phone for price :) and thanks for review 👍
Your phone is OnePlus Nord 3 or OnePlus Nord 3 CE lite? Please confirm
@@lvt910 I can confirm it is model Nord 3 with Dimensity 9000 but I have 128GB/8GB Ram version
How's the gaming on nord 3?
I also just bought and I'm not impressed with its soc but at least it can recharge in 20-30 mins
How about gaming FPS and heating issue?
StIll using the first Nord, though it is still a very capable phone, ever since they publicly merge with Oppo, software support has declined. 😞
Absolutely, firmware updates are absolute crap and there is far too much preinstalled bloatware.
I have the N30 and really like it. It’s much more than most reviewers give it credit for.
I bought the Nord3 two days ago but won’t get it for a couple weeks.
It will be interesting to see it along side the N30.
From what I’ve gathered it’s spect out very close to the 10t.
Thanks for a balanced review.
I really wish there was a United States variant of this device. Primarily, I use the Oneplus 11 as my daily driver but, this would make an amazing secondary phone. The mediatek dimensity 9000 chipset is solid. I've had a great experience with it and my OnePlus pad.
What would you need a second phone for? Try the Poco F5
@@ulysses4989 why would I want aP F5? It's an inferior phone and receives very little 1st and 3rd party support here in the United states. Moreover, the need for a second phone should be plainly obvious. Those of us to whom have careers often like to separate our personal phone from our work phone. In addition, others like to have a backup phone waiting in the drawer if something happens to their primary device.
could you please review the moto edge 40 neo?
Its a bit worse, and it heats up easily
Good Day Sir JV 💚
so, is this the flagship killer like the 1+ 5 and so on?
I feel like it is a flagship killer, very good performance, battery, camera, everything, for a good price
Cornelius Would Be Proud.🙌🏻
Underrated phone. It takes great pictures!
BATTERY LIFE SUCKS
thankfully not on mine. super battery@@elitesooraj
why u said that? battery life is not good?
Battery life is normal because it use a high-end chipset.@@elitesooraj
I've just ordered a OnePlus nord3 coming from the original Nord, which served me perfectly for over 3 years. I was actually thinking about switching to Samsung galaxy A54 but when I saw the new Nord and it's spec list I didn't even hesitate. Thanks for the content!
The best phone from OnePlus for a very long time
Rocking the OnePlus Nord 3 these days and it's seriously impressed me. The photos are incredible - super sharp and capture every detail, day or night. It's also blazing fast, keeps up with everything I throw at it. The only downside? It can get a little slippery in my hands sometimes. Thinking about getting a cool gadgetshieldz transparent TPU screen and body protection film - keeps it protected from bumps and scratches, but still lets me show off the awesome design.
It is a good phone by, OnePlus 👌
color os or oxygen os?
Oxygen OS
What about the greenline issues?
Nice video
U took a phone call ????????
I think I've just found my new daily driver 😊
To be honest 😅
I Usually play your reviews to listen to your good quality english language pronunciation .
Good review but let down by no camera samples
he showed camera samples
ขอบคุณครับ คุณกอล์ฟ
Nice 👍🏼
Gilas
cleverly avoided the battery drain issue, how smart.
i love one plus as well as joshua
Been tempted by this phone, but also Redmi Note 13 Pro.
me, this and the redmi note 13 pro PLUS! it has a nice different back!
Considering to buy the nord 3, the only problem I saw from other reviews is the refresh rate is not always 120hz, mainly in youtube and messaging apps, but those are month ago, does your nord 3 have this problem now?
Battery Drain left the chat
You can probably force it, I do this on my 8t and it's perfect.
Bruh this nord 3 literally takes so much apps space day by day my storage is being filled
I came from iphone 13 mini and ios in general the last five years, hm i dont know...i must say im pretty happy with this thing.. lets see how it works the next couple of weeks👍
How's your experience with the Nord 3 so far? Compared with your old 13 mini.
@@adriandiw hello, and sorry for late answer. Phone is a beast, for my daily tasks it works flawless and smooth, really happy with it. Compared to the 13 mini i would say its great to have a big nice display and i think now that android have more features and simplier to use than iOS, and the battery on the Nord 3 is fantastic too👍
I am from India, and don't know why reviews from Indian tech youtubers are mostly negative for this device.
Maybe our reviewers are paid by other companies*cough* *cough* iqoo *COUGH*
Dimensity 9000 seems to be poorly handled by One Plus. Many reviewers say that the device throttles too much just after some heavy gaming usage.
So sponsored by Mediatek...how viewers can trust a review paid by the SoC manufacturer that powers all the phone functionalities?! hahaha I was just curious about energy efficiency, Oxygen implementation, battery life, how much heat can it produce and when...but it seems I'm asking for too much.
exactly my thought once I saw it was sponsored by Mediatek 😄
That's why you watch multiple videos about the product you are buying. Don't rely on a single entity before spending money.
@@sinewedbastion that is true
However, because I read several comments below, don't compare the nord 3 with the f5, it's unfair for the poco in terms of software, cameras, updates, and screen resolution.
The fact we consider $500 budget is a joke, this should be the standard phones cost globally.
Save your cash. Yes this is an excellent mediatek processor. But just buy a OnePlus 9-not the 9 pro- just the 9. The OnePlus 9 is the most underrated and overlooked device OnePlus has put out. 8k 30 4k60 on other lenses and performance and size is perfect. Hands down the OnePlus 9 is a better buy. See if you can find it on the open market/refurbished/used. The device has aged with excellence and solid updates.
I have a 9 and hate it. My daily use phone is the 8t, much better phone imo.
@@zsazsagabor9127 you must be smoking alota crack because the 9 is a far superior phone over the 8t in every category
😅😊
I don't think it's a value for money phone
Not bad from oneplus. Keep impressing me because my next phone might not be from oneplus. However nice phone, I like it
🙄
There is no case with nord 3
Meanwhile this phone would've been THE PERFECT phone for me if only it had a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 instead of the Dimensity 9000.
I love OnePlus phones, but I hate how all of their flagships have curved screens.
The OnePlus Nord 3 however has fantastic specs despite being a midranger with great FLAT screen, color accurate panel, great battery life, actually good cameras for a midranger, and nice build quality along with the fantastic OxygenOS. I just wish it had a Snapdragon... it seems like no modern OnePlus phone fits my bill entirely, it's a pick your poison moment for me either way, either tolerate a shitty curved screen, or get a Dimensity...
And what difference is Snapdragon to you compared to Dimensity in this case?
@@waldamy I am a huge emulation nerd. Snapdragons with Adreno GPUs have the best compatibility with emulators and the least graphical glitches in comparison to Mediateks with Mali GPUs.
Get the Poco F5 then. I have the nord 3 and if it wasn't for the miui I'd get it. It's pretty solid phone
Thanks God..i am just casual user. Not a nerd whatever.@@arkhalis3682
Where i live, you can get an S23 FE at the same price as Nord 3. S23 FE seems to be the better choice.
I support my fellow pro-wrestling fan.
Man, the pictures you took will have a turn off of this phone...
Really disappointed, I got my oneplus nord 3, but I have to got the plastic cover 😡
Why does it have two flashes 🤣
He explained it, one of them are not a flash
First
I would definitely buy Nord 3 and could easily recommend it, if OnePlus Nord 3 didn't have one of the worst displays in the market in terms of PWM screen flickering level. It kills eyes gradually, over time...
Honor 90 is the way to go if u want very less PMW flickering
That things beats iPhone 14 pro max and Samsung s23u like crazy good
@@xxiamlostxx_dreams_7916 how do u check pwm flickering?
Ugly phone its just the Nord 2 with a design change . (Camera lens moved) 🤮🤮
If they refuse to put in all the US bands, it makes this phone absolutely worthless.
