I thought I read somewhere in legends that Mandalore wasn't destroyed and still had a green planet. I got that impression from the Star Wars Republic Commando series.
The planet was heavily damaged but recovered over time. by the time of the Republic Commando books it had made a near full recovery - that is how I saw it.
You shoulda been there when I was teaching classes on Swtor about the mandalorians. I went into great detail about their entire history. Tought the class twice a month for 6 months and had about 30 randoms show up for each class.

Love your content, but I did notice something that was missed you said the Mandalorian Wars was the first war the Mandalorians fought against the Jedi in Legends which is not true, The Great Sith War of Exar Kun saw the first engagement between Mando's and Jedi led by Mandalore the Indomitable, he led the Crusaders against the Republic with Exar Kun's Sith Empire. Mandalore the Ultimate led the Neo-Crusaders in the Mandalorian Wars
