      Definitely. I prefer that version of the clones than the ones in the new canon. It started being decanonized when The Clone Wars was still airing long before the buyout or in other words the dark day. Karen have issues with that series in which it showed continuity errors with her novels. She decided to leave later and it series discontinued. In conclusion The Clone Wars that everybody likes was the beginning of the end of the Legends Timeline.

    Finally someone gets this right. Mandalore is a melting pot unified by an individualistic/warrior culture. It doesn’t matter if you are born on Mandalore. It isn’t a race of people. It’s a way of life you’re raised in. Soldiers would adopt surviving children off the battle field and raise them. These were often the strongest children. Over time genetics selects for all the characteristics of a powerful warrior. Combine that with the culture/traditions, and you get a Mandalorian warrior. It doesn’t matter if Mando was born on Mandalore or not. That doesn’t mean shit, nor does it matter if Jango was. Jango WAS a Mandalorian. Boba was NOT a Mandalorian.

    • @Alligator81
      @Alligator81 4 года назад +4

      Boba was raised by one, though. It makes sense, given that he grew up among countless men who looked “just like dad”, that he’d ask where they came from. Jango probably taught him about his roots, and those teachings were likely something Boba clung to in order to seek revenge on the Jedi for killing his father (in front of him) and simply survive in the galaxy.

    The most frightening warrior ever must be a Mandalorian force user. I know there was one Mandalorian who was inducted into the Jedi order, who made the dark saber, but there must have been more Mandalorians who were force sensitive and could develope powers. Other races had their own force user traditions, why wouldn't the Mandalorians?

    Am I the only thinking about how many clones or people descended from clones there would be after the war? Especially if the Mandolorians took them in, afterwards.
    I feel like we should be seeing more of that in later movies, like you're just on some random planet and you see a dozen different people that look like clones

    They were better trained and capable than most people realize. Especially the Commandos. I'll never forget pre-Disney stuff like Republic Commando and seeing just how dangerous and competent those guys were. They were capable of combat engineering/demolitions, sniping, anti-armor vehicle hunting, boarding, space operations, you name it. Stormtroopers don't hold a candle to them. Best of all, most of them quickly obtained a high level of combat experience thanks to how the Clone Wars kicked off into high gear almost immediately. Most Stormtroopers are just garrison troopers or guards and very few, if any, have combat experience on par with the Clone era troopers or commandos. And, oh yeah, their gear was even better. Especially weapons. The E-11 is lacking in anything other than ranges you'd have in bases and ships. Stormtrooper armor is potentially better, but even if it saves your life you'll still be out of the fight and potentially still die. So it's kinda a moot point.
