It's indeed a shame Beady Eye are no longer. They were quickly becoming my new favorite band. I'm American and bought both special deluxe CD's overseas because somehow our music shops (the little which remain) don't carry them. I've been a fan of Oasis since the band's formation. It was truly a sad day for me. Liam is an inspiration. When Noel walked out he seized the reigns and carried on. That takes guts. Liam's example helped me tackle many things in my life. I've read troll comments joking him because of his recent hair loss and custody battle was it (??). And the never ending 'his voice isn't the same since..blah, blah, fucking blah. Everyone ages, everyone has problems. Nobody's perfect. Being American I may be the odd one out here but fuck all the whiners and haters. You are one to give LIAM GALLAGHER advise lol...please!! Thank you Liam for all the lessons you taught me about seizing opportunity (Just Sayin..etc), and showing you have kick ass music writing skills too. Hopefully we'll see you again sometime in the near future. If not a fresh Oasis (God we all pray) then maybe a solo career?? Anyway...wishing you nothing but good things. SOUL LOVE!!! ;)

83thechaz For me. Beady eye came to an end when they ended up playing Noel Gallagher written songs. It would of been different if they played Oasis songs they written. It all went a bit desperate for them. The biggest bullshit moment is when the second album came out, some bright spark in their team thought it would be a good idea for Beady Eye to play acoustic sets of their second album. Just weak weak weak no energy performances and it didn't even suit the songs. They tried to go all Noel Gallagher acoustic style but failed. I don't blame the band members I blame who ever made the decisions behind the scenes. In the end Beady eye didn't sell enough records and still ended up playing modest sized venues which is nothing wrong but when you compare how Noel solo career started with small modest venues then second album came the arena venues. It's a real shame for Liam, cause he should of worked with Death In Vegas or even with John Squire and created something leftfield from Oasis. Oh well.

Been watching so many coments about Liam's voice changing and their sound and whatever. First, Liam is not the young guy he used to be and has more experience when it comes to performing and recording, second, their songs are not being written by Noel anymore, therefore, their sound can't be the same. This album is just so great! I really wasn't sure about it at first but one day i really listened to it and it just sunk in. The only song that doesn't appeal to me is "millionaire" but i just love the rest! Liam did such a wonderful job on this album as did the rest of the band! I only wish i knew about Beady Eye when they were together 😕but my recent obsession with Oasis led me here!

Different Gear is suuuper underrated and I'm sad Liam and the others were quick to dismiss everything Beady Eye ever made. Like I love Liam's solo stuff, but I'd just wish he would be willing to pick up more material from Different Gear for his life shows, cos that album's just fantastic.

Dig out your soul was a fantastic album,personally I consider it their best after DM and Morning Glory. It was a proper rock album,with great sound and great songs. Different Gear was a decent album,although I think BE was way better.

Passion! That's what Individual love about this song and this band. I'm old now and I can't find a job, but who cares? What I've always hated about school, jobs, women, and all the guys I couldn't find to form a band was their horrible lack of passion. It's the same sleep walkers everywhere, saying the same stupid things, and not one of them ever gives a damn about anything. This comment is to a youtuber who wanted to know why Beady Eye disbanded: I heard it was due to Liam's voice. Behind the scenes the problem was developing into something serious!!! Now I don't know how much of that is true but some of it seems factual. Does anyone else have their theories or know why Liam pulled the plug on BE?
Maybe the voice was apart of it but it was mostly cuz liam just didn't want to do it anymore, being in a band i mean. A few reason why 1. He was going through a divorce and shit was hard for him personally. 2. Andy wanted to do just a few Ride shows but liam mentality is that you're in one band and you dont hop around, so he pull the plug so Andy can stay with Ride for the whole reunion thing. 3. Gem got a head injury that made it so Beady Eye had to cancel the last few gigs and festivals. Killing what little momentum they had. combine all that and that BE didn't sell as well, especially compared to Noelly-G solo stuff, liam just lost all hope and just called it quits and this all was happening mostly all at once too so the stress just finally got to him. I'm just happy he finally got his composer back, looking forward to his solo album next year!

That's what Individual love about this song and this band.
I'm old now and I can't find a job, but who cares? What I've always hated about school, jobs, women, and all the guys I couldn't find to form a band was their horrible lack of passion.
It's the same sleep walkers everywhere, saying the same stupid things, and not one of them ever gives a damn about anything.
Their words are all the same damned things, like bad actors reading from bad scripts that are 30 years out of date. Their greatest ambitions are to get benefits and good pensions.
What is it? Too much fluoride in the water?
Listen to the RUclips videos about self improvement. They are full of calculations about how to be a better and more effective person, how to impress your employer, or master, how to be the best quality person to find the best quality mate, etc. It's enough to make you puke.
There is nothing about the basic irrationality of love, and nothing about passion. They don't know passion, and they certainly don't want to see it in their servants.
They want rock and roll dead because it is unruly and passionate. It was fine for its time - to tear down the vestiges of the old system.
But the new system of totalitarian control doesn't want to fire people up with passion.

This comment is to a youtuber who wanted to know why Beady Eye disbanded: I heard it was due to Liam's voice. Behind the scenes the problem was developing into something serious!!! Now I don't know how much of that is true but some of it seems factual. Does anyone else have their theories or know why Liam pulled the plug on BE?
Maybe the voice was apart of it but it was mostly cuz liam just didn't want to do it anymore, being in a band i mean. A few reason why
1. He was going through a divorce and shit was hard for him personally.
2. Andy wanted to do just a few Ride shows but liam mentality is that you're in one band and you dont hop around, so he pull the plug so Andy can stay with Ride for the whole reunion thing.
3. Gem got a head injury that made it so Beady Eye had to cancel the last few gigs and festivals. Killing what little momentum they had.
combine all that and that BE didn't sell as well, especially compared to Noelly-G solo stuff, liam just lost all hope and just called it quits and this all was happening mostly all at once too so the stress just finally got to him.
I'm just happy he finally got his composer back, looking forward to his solo album next year!
