A beautiful and calm landing, I had the honor to fly 7 times with Airbus 747 from Tehran to Mumbai, it was the best flight of my life, unfortunately Iran Air has stopped this Airbus type. 747 is a beautiful eagle, and flying with the airplane will always be remembered.
Beautiful sequence! You were lucky to catch one of the last flights of this beauty, and the last passenger-carrying Boeing 747-200. I hope this aircraft will be preserved among the amazing collection of oldies, including Saha Air's "Hotel Victor," the last passenger 707 flight (albeit on a military airplane).
Thanks; very clear vids., both dep & lndg. IR appears now to turn around catering ex-THR. No Taj flight kitchen van unloading or re-loading. Extremely prompt -- one of few dependables at that airport -- are Taj and other caterers. One barely disembarks than they are by the acft. door. But it would appear catering is not uplifted anymore. Ditto PK too who would in past times but now bring in grub ex-KHI. I do not believe IR crew has a BOM layover. Perhaps yrs. ago but not so now. In another video/trip report recall noticing deck crew dead heading to THR. But then neither did BMI until they last flew to THR in the mid-2000s. Crew stayed aboard returning LHR same day.

Iran Air have ordered over 100 new Airbus planes, the time for this beauty expires :-(
