"Having seen this - how does anyone stand a chance against Aang." I love that the show predicts this question and makes it the focus of the next episode.
"Wow. What the hell?" Zhao either threw a teenager into the freezing Arctic waters far from shore, where he died of hypothermia or drowned (judging by the sound effect,) or threw him headfirst onto a metal deck from quite a height (judging by the ship layout.) Either way, Zhao totally just killed him and not even Iroh seems to care, which is amazing.
The first season is a gentle arc, now every single episode gets better and better. Then it's like how can this show keep getting better and then it does. Best TV ever.
Alright, let's go for season 2! Season one is good, but some moments are really childish and feels like "bad guy of the week" type. S2 is awesome and It just becomes better and better after that.
I would say Season 1 walks so that Seasons 2 and 3 can sprint and do ninja parkour. The latter seasons would not have been able to go so hard if they weren't sitting on the foundational world building of Season 1.
Season one got the ball rolling with worldbuilding and character development. A lot of stuff comes back. So, very little filler in the series. Next comes Azula. Azula is everything Zhao wishes he could be. She is intelligent, deadly, merciless, conniving, manipulative, extremely skilled, and worst of all she completely believes in her tasks to the detriment of all other things. You will grow to learn to love to hate her.

The thing about this show is that the energy just ramps up every time, I’m always suprised so much happens in such a short time
We haven’t met Azula yet, but we have seen her. She was smiling next to Iroh when Zuko got his scar.
need 2 eps per week desperately loved this finale
