Voices of Delaware Black History: Buddy Hicks, Jr.

Wellington "Buddy" Hicks, Jr. grew up in Milford , attended Benjamin Banneker schoo, and went to work after graduating 8th grade. In his 20's, he worked as a lifeguard when Rehoboth's beaches were still segregated. Always wanting to see "the other side of the mountain," he has unique perspective on life and learning.
