  • I'm working on an neat project for a Japanese Taiko drum group. I'll be visualizing their drums individually but the catch is they are on wheels and move around the stage. So I am testing cheap wireless contact mic solutions and using Geopix to handle the LED visuals which will be sent to WLED via DMX. I know there are a bunch of sound-reactive enthusiasts so here's a little progress video I made if you're curious (more of the WLED side and testing the streaming of pixel data to each LED strip wirelessly as well to come)
In this video we experiment with some cheap wireless instrument transmitter/receivers to see if multichannel audio streaming with contact mics (for Japanese Taiko drums on wheels) and walk through some of the Dante Controller & Geopix Audio Input Setup.
