Amazingly, yes. Start to finish, and it's spectacular. Instead of the end credits we know, it's an extended instrumental version of the Ghostbusters theme song.
@@Ben-pd2bx I think it’s pretty presumptuous of you to invoke the opinions of a dead guy you never met to diss some movie sequels you didn’t like. Ghostbusters is my favorite movie of all time, it has been since I was a child. The new movies are lovely, the last one was a lot of fun, and Harold Ramos made Multiplicity and Bedazzled. I’m certain if he were alive he would have participated and contributed. The original movie is perfect, but no follow up will ever live up to that. It’s totally okay for you not to like the new movies, but you’re just projecting your opinions onto monoliths you’ve created in your head.
@@seekandannoy I base my opinion on the fact that Harold advocated for quality control behind the scenes on numerous Ghostbusters sequel drafts, on knowledge of his preferences based on extensive interviews he's given, and the mere fact that he was a highly competent screenwriter who would easily have identified the many glaring plot holes and inconsistencies in the Afterlife screenplay upon a first viewing. I'm aware taste is subjective, but there are certain things that are objectively true about sloppy screenwriting, that good writers can easily spot. Gil and Jason are not competent screenwriters, and it shows.
i wished it was the hole concert, its amazing!
I didn't want to give away everything. I hope it comes to where you are so you can see it, too! In person is the most amazing thing to see!!
@@kevinwilliams4845 yeah i understand. the point is is that im leaving in canada so its pretty difficult for me haha but i hope they come in canada!
The company leases the music to local Symphony Orchestras, hopefully a local one to you will lease the show and perform it. It's amazing.
whole
Elmer Bernstein, baby.
The BEST!
Glad you posted this. I met you guys there!
I was there from the Memphis Ghostbusters, and it was nice meeting so many cool fans with the Nashville Ghostbusters Team!
legendary
100%
Was ALL the music in the movie done by the orchestra? Even the little atmospheric bits?
It was. The closing credits are all that changes as they continued through the Ghostbusters theme song. It's so lovely, go see it if you can!
Doooope!

This concert is fantastic!
Do they play the whole movie?

0:50 I saw that background from ghostheads
Danny and the car?
@@kevinwilliams4845 yep
Too bad they didn't replace the songs with Bernstein's alternate score.
That would have been nice!
This address from Aykroyd is so much better than anything in the recent sequels, which tells me he wrote it, instead of being forced aside.
Aykroyd is always great! Loved the sequels, they're keeping Ghostbusters alive!
@@kevinwilliams4845 They're terribly written. I'm convinced Harold would hate them. They're everything he spent a lifetime skewering.
It's OK to just be a fan of the first, maybe first 2, movie(s). I had fun with them, and that's the point. I hope for many more films to come.

It was AMAZING! I hope you get to see it one day.
