Where one lives in the Uk matters a lot honestly. Sometimes what people living in those expensive cities pay for a shared accommodation is exactly what other people pay for a 3bedroom house

This will be helpul for those who want to come to UK to study or work here. The cost of living in uk is expensive. I'm from Essex and it very expensive. However places like Nottingham , Manchester etc are cheaper .

What! Less than 600 pounds for 2bed apartment. Where I live,which is not inside London, 1 heard that 1 bed apartment costs 1k month.
When we are ready to downside from our current 4 bed house due to our children all grown and left home, will be on my way 🚶 to Durham. Let me keep watching for the rest.

Cost of childcare very high in UK hence everyone takes care of their children on their own

Lots of Nigerians at Middlesbrough which makes it homely for you. Lots of jobs here hence you can kick start with any job while hunting for a professional job Ugoo. Ignore the negative talks and land here first biko. I'm on the bus now heading to Middlesbrough. Meanwhile there Lots of towns around Middlesbrough for you if you don't want to live there. All I know is that it's too busy a city just like Manchester.

Manchester is a big city but there are other towns around Manchester that are good too.

Towns or nearest Town to Sheffield University. Then you search for Airbnb in that Town. Why not get the students accommodation if your coming for study. At least it will be more economical as every bill is inclusive just like in Airbnb tbough, Airbnb apartment must be more expensive compared to students access
