Just bought one. Now includes a small booklet of instructions. Still had some trouble working it out but got there in the end. not bad for a 75 year old!!! I found the patio head ok if you want to do a large patio and don't mind a rough clean up. indivivual head still my favourite but very time consuming for the better result.
So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
When you use the patio cleaner gently lift the side in the direction of travel it stops the brush gripping the rough concrete. Also using the patio cleaner first then rinse off and if there are any small patches failed to clean just touch those up with the jet. That way you avoid getting rail tracks and I find it’s much quicker and keeps me much cleaner.
beautifull review! BUT first of all you have to prime it before use! Just connect hose, simply press gun trigger and wait till there is no air coming from the nozzle. It is very important. I just bought one and I am pretty amazed by the power of this little washer!
Hi, great video. Thank you for putting this together. It really helped us set up our power washer. Before seeing your video, we thought we had a piece missing, as we couldn’t attach one of the pipes!
You did quite a few strange things ... the first one is that the "most gentle" is actually made to use it close to surface as it creates a rotating water jet that cleans a lot of stuck dirt. The other one is that you need to leave the cleaning solution at 1:5 or maybe 1:10 ratio on for at least a few minutes... using the "most powerfull" jet is very tideous and time consuming.
Thank you for the review. I have the Bosch Aquatak 125. I am assuming the only difference is I do not have the have all the additional attachments such as the patio head and the gutter cleaning attachment. Bonus is I will not lose any additional attachments in the garage like you will but the gutter cleaner attachment looks like a great tool I must say I’m a bit gutted I haven’t got that one. See what I did there … lol. I came looking for a review because as you stated the instructions are virtually non existent and I was struggling attaching the hose to the pressure washer. Your review gave me the confidence to have a closer look at what I was doing and I was relieved to find out it was the universal adaptor I had but I wasn’t pushing it on properly hence the issue. Thank you for saving me from running to wicks and buying more hose attachments when in fact I had the right adaptor for the job. I am impressed with this machine it does a great job, with little effort and within a short space of time …. Thats if you push the hose fitting on correctly of course. Fabulous Vlog … I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to viewing more of your down to earth informative content.
I reckon the the barrel turns so you're not having to twist the 'gun' to get into tight spots. You just twist the barrel which in turn rotates the nozzle without have to twist the 'gun'
@@gardeniaorganic4533 Some attachments like real foam cannons also attach directly to the gun so you need the barrel to turn so you can adjust their orientation.
I think you're moving too quick with the pressure washer when going over areas, Got to go slow & steady with those "home owner" pressure washers. (yes I know it's sped up clips). I've done this for a couple years now and I definitly noticed that when I move over areas too fast it just doesn't have the power to clean it properly.
I've literally just bought one its coming today, There's two reasons why i ended up getting Bosch and that 1. My Lawnmower packed in after 10 years of use and my dad recommend me to get the Bosch lawnmower which i did so i thought i might as well get the pressure washer in the same brand, 2. My previous pressure washer was a Karcher and stop working within a year or just over and that was before covid, My dad also as a Karcher but it was way better than mine and even his broke so i'm staying well clear of Karcher in fact even the handle on my karcher hose pipe broke off so overall Karcher is terrible imo. So yes i have both Bosch Lawn morrow and pressure washer coming today but genuinely i use mine to clean up the fence and posts before painting i keep on top of my path and i use it for my wheelie bins because i use scented wheelie bin detergent.
Had mine a year or so, used without issue for numerous jobs until today!!, pressure keeps dropping, motor makes a heck of a noise. No leaks, adjusting the water tap pressure makes no difference!, Really frustrating taken hours trying to do a job that should be relatively short!,
FYI it’s not straight jet, finer spray and gentle spray. It’s straight jet, rotary jet and fixed fan. Rotary jet is a straight jet which rotates at high speed. Don’t assume it’s a fine spray or you may strip the paint off your car. Also the cleaner wouldn’t be particularly effective on top of the organic layer over the concrete. You would need to remove this using the PW and then apply cleaner to test the results. Useful to see it in action but I the details in this review seem to be a bit uninformed.
Nice video, i will buy it today, my Karcher K4 is broken and to be fair Karcher had a good few issues so i am looking forward to testing the more powerful Bosch for a much lower price with a few accessories thrown in.
I have various Karcher lances (extensions, right angle, foamer etc) - will these fit? I'm fed up with Karcher build quality so want to try something else, but I'm rather invested in the Karcher eco system.
@@kerryhayes3499 I've finally worked it out but not sure if yours will be the same. Basically mines broke - the red bit that the man on the video twists isn't moveable on mine and is also too high (meaning the connection piece isn't reachable). Have got one from a friend for now and emailed Bosch to hopefully get a replacement. Hope this helps.
The 140 model is a different animal and belongs their advanced line. Not only does it offer higher pressure and flow rate, it also has a pressure hose reel, weighs almost twice as much as the 135 and comes with different nozzles. It's a big step up from the 135 and depending on how cheap you can get it, is much better value.
Ive got one of these. The most effective pressure is the needle one. But using this it will take hours to clean a large area....and use tonnes of water. Your back will also be breaking if you are more than 5ft 5 cos you'll need to bend over to get the nozzle close to the path. Would not buy again.
For all of you out there I thank you for your views and feedback on the Bosch Universal Aquatak 135 (135 bar; 240 Volts; 1900 W). Can anyone tell me the length (in cm) of the gun, lance and nozzle set up (best views at 8.55 to 9.11 mins), even measure yours for me. I can’t find an answer anywhere. Also with the extension adaptor attached which briefly made an appearance at 2.17mins to 2.24 mins. I’m scrapping my failed Karcher, I don’t aim to buy another although the lance set up was a good length at 125 cm.
What was really bugging and annoying ME was seeing that pressure hose not being uncoiled properly. If you want to kink and wreck your hose, do it like that! The music is not needed.
I think the issue is that the installation instructions come at the back of the manual (around page 218) [ typical issue with multilanguage manuals]. Page 13 of my manual "mounting and operation" send you to the different end pages
I have this pressure washer, it has series motor not induction motor. Sound of this pressure washer is too noisy and irritates, your neighbours may ask you to stop it.
Hrmmm This did a very poor job. I’ve been looking to replace my 15a semi industrial karcher it’s in very poor condition now….. But even still it makes this look like a kids toy. That spinning pointy head does a shocking and uneven job. And as does the rotating patio cleaner head. Very disappointing result with uneven cleaning! It’s very underpowered. My tired karcher will cut through your toe nails if your not careful. Might have to check the 150 version, but I don’t think it’s much better.
Buyer beware - Bosch refuse to replace an improperly manufactured high pressure hose. Their customer care is laughable. Do NOT buy Bosch products.
