Well that was off to an exciting start! You definitely picked the right side of the road to slide off. Great that you were able to self-recover. The camp looked really cozy, especially with that tiny wood stove. Great adventure!
@@HikerT A road I shouldn’t have traveled up but I’ve said that many times before, I guess I don’t learn 🤣. That camping spot is really nice but kinda hard to get back out of. The little wood stove sure helps when it’s cold and wet out and sometimes for cooking too. Thanks for watching.
Fun camping adventures and off-roaming in the snow! It’s great that you have the equipment to get yourself unstuck if needed!! Your tent looks great- pretty little lake. 👌❄️❄️💙💙
@@JenniferLupine Thanks. Yes this is a really nice spot to relax by the lake and enjoy the PNW beauty. Funny after watching your latest India trip video I was watching Hiker T and there you are again 🤣. That looked like a great fall hike.
Well that reminds me I better put my snow shovel in the FJ. Good thing you had those traction boards. Nice campsite there by the lake, and it even had free firewood! Another fun video got me pumped up for this weekend's trip
@@easycamperdandog Free firewood is my favorite. I’m usually not a big fan of the traction boards but they sure come in handy sometimes. I only carry them in the snowy season. A shovel is a must have though. It’s a really nice spot but a bit of journey to get back out of.
very nice campsite ! a bit nerve wracking when you were stuck on this road with the steep drop. But at least we know that if you published the video, that everything turned out fine for you and that you survived the adventure safe and sound !
@@positiveattitudebymichusa It was the first time I’d been stuck in that truck but I’m sure it won’t be the last. How far I go up the sketchy roads depends on how much recovery gear I have. I get stuck in snow every year. 🤣
@@goldfinger180024 Yeah that road was narrow and sketchy and got really steep so I turned back. Truck did pretty good, the tires on it aren’t the best for snowy and muddy roads but so far I haven’t had any issues other than sliding off the road this last time.
@ Sometimes the lack of a good turnaround spot pushes the fun meter a little too far. I still had to back up about half a mile but at least it was on a wider section of the road.
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial Thanks for the suggestion but I try to keep my little channel mellow and focused on camping and hiking without pushing products or creating bushcraft or survival scenarios.
Great campsite and snow recovery. Love the shot of the fog on the lake. 👏
@@ourpnwadventures Thanks. It’s a really nice spot, I hope get back there in the summer for a swim.

@ Lol- it sure was, thanks! I got back home in October- trying to finish up all the trip videos, but had to get in a hike too! Thanks! 😄
A great place to camp and all worked out fine! Awesome!!

There before or not, that's a nice spot
@@rdulaneyjr Yup the really nice ones get repeat visits through the years. I haven’t been there in summer yet so maybe next year for that trip.
That road looked knarly. Were you satisfied with how the truck performed?

Hey, I give you loads of credit for trying! I think I’d have been too chicken to go nearly as far as you did!😂

Change the theme from just camping to "Survival Challenge" With equipment from a certain website. Should boost engagement.
