Jay Fedder Put the amount of time and effort they did into this book and then factor in the cost of actually making a book and then say whether or not it should be free.

2 minutes in and I was sold. Ordered both books and am counting the days until they arrive. I've been teaching myself how to hunt over the last year or so and information like what is described in the book would take a lifetime to learn. I dont have a lifetime to dedicate to hunting lol, I really appreciate Steve and those who share their information with all of us. I've always wanted to hunt, but never had anyone show me how to start.

I appreciate the underlying sentiment Steve Rinella shares that a man is a man. And that the internal code and compass is more important than idolizing figures of the past merely because of their reputation.

Labor Day Weekend: Scouting Elk/Deer with a Black Bear tag listening to American Buffalo: In Search of a lost icon - during the rain and drive. Doesn't get better than that, I'll have to check out the newer books.

I bought this book last week, I do have to say it is a good book for hunter that want to learn more than hunting white tail deer. It has everything for a hunter who want to go anywhere in the U.S. and hunt any large animal.

It amazes me that he hasn't read Hemingway and Ruark. I think if he did he might be way more interested in hunting Africa.

I love hearing Steve talk but feel sorry for the person he's talking to, in this case Janis. Done talking? Nope, just a long pause. You gotta hold that thought for a while.

I don't think so much that one would be "smarter" without a wife and kids, but perhaps one would be more prolific without wife and kids.
