Seriously. Wanted this since I was a kid obsessed with true 12/6 curves. Can't tell if its true 12/6 from the off center angle. But I will say, as an espn camera opp, the reason you don't get this angle is because it would be directly in the line of sight of the batters view of the pitcher, disrupting their view of the release point, hence this being at practice

@@methodz2850 oh yes he will. It just won’t be as a full time starter. The Dodgers will save Ohtani for post season and as a possible reliever.
      The Dodgers have:
      1. Nick Frasso
      2. River Ryan
      3. Landon Knack
      4. Kyle Hurt
All waiting to get their chance. Their debut is supposed to be 2024. Michael Grove debuted in 2023.
There is also Gonsolin and May who are on the DL. So the Dodgers have a lot of depth and options to keep both Glasnow and Ohtani sidelined and well rested.
Ohtani cannot continue his current pace with both starting pitching and DH. He needs to be used more as relief pitcher and he should learn how to play First Base.

In case you’re wondering why I’m not overly concerned over this is because Ohtani even stated in an interview that the procedure he had this time was different than the first.
The Dodgers wouldn’t sign Ohtani to such a mega deal just to be a DH. Ohtani wants to win World Series titles.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already learning how to play first base. He was used as a reliever/closer also in the WBC finals.
