@pud443 & @22zay65 Thanks for taking the time to watch the video featuring our new model home and share your thoughts on the tax abatement. We agree that it isn't appropriate for every community and price point to benefit from tax abatements, and we supported the reform to the residential tax abatement program that occurred last summer. The new abatement program is based on specific neighborhoods within Cincinnati rather than offering the same tax abatement benefits for all of Cincinnati proper. This significantly reduced abatement lengths and abated values in areas like Hyde Park, while increasing abated values in areas like College Hill that greatly benefit from incentivizing homeownership and diversifying price points. In turn, when homeowners purchase homes in communities like Station Court, they then contribute to the community and the small businesses within it.
Thanks again for taking the time to check out the video!

City governments need to continue to incentivize LEED/ healthier home standards. Developers and contractors prioritizing profit over heath and safety needs to be talked about. LEED and other green standards should be accessible to all - everyone deserves a healthy home. This design is still heavy on the developer side, but very very nice to see Cincinnati incentivizing this new wave of architecture & design. After John Roebling & his wife, Emily Warren Roebling, to Zaha Hadid and Daniel Libeskind…Cincinnati is an architecture birthplace/ capital and green design is our next territory. Can’t wait to move back to my hometown after architecture school!

For sure! We have such a great history of architecture here, and we should keep inspiring for the future!

Premium homes should NOT be tax abated, these people can afford to pay their fair share. This is just another way for people who SHOULD pay taxes to shelter their wealth. I usually like your videos and I understand you are in real estate and this is your job but please do not promote this crap!

I somewhat see the point, Hamilton county is trying to attract higher incomes to the city. There is such little new growth when it comes to housing. But yeah I do get ur point too
