I test a 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL over the weekend and came away very impressed! It's a very solid, refined, quiet and well mannered car. Ride quality was excellent, vehicle dynamics are very sharp and engine/transmission performance very smooth! It rides on an all-new platform (K3 platform) and it definitely shows. Interior is very spacious and seats are very comfortable. Also, super quiet and great visibility. The doors close with a high quality, solid thunk. They had a 2020 Elantra sitting right next to it and the difference was night and day. The 2021 looks leagues better in every way.

Not a big deal to me personally. You still get the wireless Apple/Android auto car play, all of the safety features, and the most important feature to me the Bose Premium Sound. I will tell you I listen to heavy metal and hard bass EDM that is not played on normal radio and the sound system kicks hard! Very happy with my SEL, exact same blue color with gray interior and you get the smart driving system that will kick it into sport mode for hills and passing vehicles.

really looking for the Hybrid SEL, i think thats the one to get from what i can see. the SEL with the convenience package and possibly premium package gets you everything you need along with wireless AA/ACP. my guesstimate is that it runs in right about 26500 or 27000, which winds up being 30-32k after taxes and fees. its a bit on the pricey side, but if you want to get the best of both worlds thats probably the way to go.
