I respect this man’s work ethic.
Thanks for having my back Christopher!
Cant wait for you to review the Elantra N Line Joe
Nobody works harder...props to Lauri too.
I agree, Joe is a great motivational example of picking yourself back up and working towards success.
I think Hyundai is a great brand. Love them. I’m not so sure about the new front clips on some of their vehicles. They are a solid buy though.
Hyundai bringing their A game. Glad to see that they are not the cheap little Korean car in a bad way anymore!
You are so very right!
Agree 20 years ago Hyundai and Kia were junky tin cans, now they make some of the best vehicles on the road now
@@joskjj3625 maybe true, but you could buy a new Kia Rio for $8k. I bought one in 2005 and put over 200k miles on it. No other car maker can compete with that.
@@hse6144 agreed thats what I practically said
Hyundai and kia make excellent vehicles now
@@joskjj3625 understood. My poorly made point was that I wish they still had an $8k version. Kia and Hyundai have raised the prices. Value is still there, but not everyone can afford a $25k car.
I just saw one of these in person and they look pretty good, but the interior is definitely the selling point if you ask me. I'm definitely excited for this elantra's future
Can we just appreciate that we have more options than ever to find the car you want, rather than the tiring hating we see on social media.
That is a great point!
I love this car. Its fun to look at and I feel its the best value in the compact car category. A loaded limited for 26K? Ten inch screen? All digital dash? Bose stereo? I'll keep my scat pack but the elantra would be a tempting option if I were looking a new car. I would even look past the four doors.
I am so glad that you are liking this one.
Love mine it feels so luxurious inside
My Hyundai Elantra is approaching 400,000 miles. I gave it to my kids. Engine/trans never been opened up. Only work was 2 radiators, 2 fuel pumps and one power steering pump.
EVERYTHING still works. AC, power windows, power sunroof ect. Still runs and drives great.
The tail end is amazing
Although, I wish the Sonata had the same tail; that'd make it A+ style for me
I am so glad that you like this one.
You know that you are in America when the Hyundai Elantra is called a compact sedan.
LOL!
Lol ya. In my country, the Elantra is considered a midsize sedan.
I was really shocked to see these on the road already! I saw one at Olive Garden in North Carolina a few days ago! A MUCH better looking model than the outgoing one
I totally agree with you!
Dangit dale
Joe would take leftover breadsticks and put them in the door pockets with a peach tea To-Go!
Olive Garden customers are the ones youd expect to see these , and at Olive Garden lol
Always enjoy your videos Joe. You really showcase vehicles very well. Love the humor you bring to the videos too lol. Been hooked watching all your videos from before and always can’t wait for the new ones you are bringing of the 2020-21 vehicles. 👍🏼
That car has come along way. I owned a 2010 many moons ago and man, what a difference 11 years has made.
I totally agree with you!
This video is the reason I just bought my 2021 Elantra Limited. Keep up the work !
Just got mine last week. This is an amazing car!
How has it been
@@ultragoldcoin8780 this has been an incredible car, no issues at all. Gas mileage is great, the lane assist feature is greatly improved over my 2017 Elantra. I got the grey exterior and I get compliments on how slick it looks from everyone, love this car to death.
@@daleithgribbleshire2092 how about the transmission and maintenance? Thx for answering my previous question
@@ultragoldcoin8780 no issues at all, no maintenance required yet. Transmission seems fine, it’s not too jerky or delayed when switching gears or anything. It’s a winner for sure!
Dude I been loving mine!
I test a 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL over the weekend and came away very impressed! It's a very solid, refined, quiet and well mannered car. Ride quality was excellent, vehicle dynamics are very sharp and engine/transmission performance very smooth! It rides on an all-new platform (K3 platform) and it definitely shows. Interior is very spacious and seats are very comfortable. Also, super quiet and great visibility. The doors close with a high quality, solid thunk. They had a 2020 Elantra sitting right next to it and the difference was night and day. The 2021 looks leagues better in every way.
As a bigger dude, I never would have thought I’d consider the Elantra but this is way better than the Sonata IMO. Great review. That left aesthetic piece is a big negative for me but everything else is so competently and beautifully done.
got me one in columbus, oh! i had never seen these on the road before i got it i was super impressed with how they’ve upgraded this car!
Bro your reviews are too funny "egg McMuffin and a bottle of OJ". I'm dead 😂
kinda humorous, yes. But to make you "dead"? You have a sad sense of humor
I'm a big fan of the color...ofcoarse☺️ This styling must be seen inperson, even Joe's great review doesn't do THIS car any justice👍❗😉
Thanks for pointing that out! I can't wait to get my hands on the N version.
I love the way u always tell the MSRP😅... thanks for the review Joe... keep it going
You are so very welcome Avon! Thanks for the great support!
Ever since I’ve since I subbed to Raitis, I’ve never been so excited to watch car reviews :)
Thanks Stanley that really means a lot!
I have a 2012 Elantra Limited, so cool how this car has progressed in 9 years! Another great review man.
Thanks Ian! I totally agree with you!
@@arrogen2831 It’s never had any problems besides a faulty ignition coil. Other than that nothing at all.
Another great video Joe. I have owned 4 Hyundai’s with relatively few problems with any of them. I purchased the 2020 Sonata a few months back and I am very happy with this latest generation model. I have the 2.5 litre engine and find this has all the power I need. The 2021 Elantra is a great looking car! Thanks from Toronto.
Thanks Randy for letting me share it with you! I appreciate your support!
Yep their cars have been very reliable over the last decade or so. My 2005 Elantra is still going strong almost zero issues over the years .
Shame so many people are stuck in the past who still think Hyundai and kia are still junk
I totally agree with you!
Typical normal people
They're still making headlines having to spend billions of dollars on recalls and not warning customers properly about recalls this year alone. The chairman on their latest Q3 2020 fiscal report apologized to investors for continued recalls, safety issues, and quality control issues.
@@kenedtsu honda has 1.5t oil dilution that Honda still can’t fix, slipping auto gearboxes, poor build quality and have electrical issues
@@joskjj3625 So you're not denying Hyundai still has massive problems. All I needed to hear ;)
Very sexy car. I picked up the 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL with the two available packages. The only thing you are missing from the top trim is leather seats and mood lighting. Not a big deal to me personally. You still get the wireless Apple/Android auto car play, all of the safety features, and the most important feature to me the Bose Premium Sound. I will tell you I listen to heavy metal and hard bass EDM that is not played on normal radio and the sound system kicks hard! Very happy with my SEL, exact same blue color with gray interior and you get the smart driving system that will kick it into sport mode for hills and passing vehicles.
Congrats Chad!
I was just building this car thinking about buying it thanks for the review Joe ‼️‼️
I am so glad that I can bring it to you!
13:38 is me when I watch these videos and start adopting some of the vocabulary the legend himself drops on us
I think I watch every single review you put out. Every day there’s a new one I watch it..lol
I just bought my limited on Friday! Ended up getting it Memorial Day 2500 rebate so only around 24500!
Hey whatabout that led strip that they had running through the dash board that we can change colors of, is that available as an option or not?
The review I’ve been WAITING FOR! Thanks Joe!
I am so glad that I can bring it to you!
Really liking Hyundai, a good competitor for the Mazda, that I also like. The steering wheel is something! Thanks for bringing this, Joe! Lori, thank you for the wonderful views of this one! Time to relax yet? 10 cars in 1 day, you guys truly enjoy your work!
Thanks for being so supportive! You guys deserve the best and I want to bring it to you!
I've bought this trim on day one. And I just love this car. I'm only one I'm Miami with this trim.
Congrats Eugene and thank you for taking the time to say that.
Just bought one (in white) and my wife and I love it. Such a smooth ride!
Congrats!
14:10 his face after he said "that" lmaoooooo
Jeff here form Runnergy. They had me till the "o'crap bar" which is completely unnecessary and too high. It actually would look great without it. The different door colors, again unnecessary and weird. I think that blank screen on the left of the dash should have been at least a clock. And those "C" pillars remind me of an old Jaguar with blind spots the size of Jupiter. What?!? No rear vents, usb's or heated seats....seriously? WOW! That MPG and top dash steal the show here. Great video as always!
Always a treat when Joe drops a new review!
Wow, Hyundai is on fire 🔥. Nice job Hyundai and another great review Joe. I am excited about the upcoming Elantra N review.
Good Job Joe!!! You really show the full detail of any vehicle that you profile!! KUDOS!!
Another great video Joe & Lori.
I'm watching your video's from Canada. The U.S.A. gets these models before we do. So this gives me a heads up on what is coming our way.
Thanks and keep up the great work.
That is so awesome! Thanks for the compliments.
9:10 this is what a car cluster and screen should look like.
Thanks for letting me share it with you.
I don’t know Joe. It looks like Hyundai is starting to over style this model. The interior would look better without that long grab bar among other things. How about sending some Florida sunshine my way. We have snow here and 30 degrees.🥶 Nice review as always. Lori deserves a raise. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
It will be very interesting to see how this car ages. You better believe she does. That is really chilly! Raiti's Rides and a hot cup of coffee is the way to go.
👍🏻☕️
I love the grab handle as a young guy LS!
Never was a fan of Hyundai ..... I am now. They are doing a great job on these new cars. Watch out Honda, Toyota etc.
I am so glad that I can share this one with you!
The Death Star space in the dash is great for sticking Post It notes.
I like that Jose!
I have a 2012 model that I've been driving since new and still very reliable having 228,000 miles on it and having no major issues. One of the things that I look at; is this model is still using a timing chain? Myself, I prefer a timing chain. The 2011 model went to chain that year design. BTW, always appreciate your reviews and I hope with this design that they can pump a few more ponies out of this little engine and keep it naturally aspirated. I feel that reliability should always come first and foremost.
Thanks Dane for sharing that great ownership experience!
Congratulations on crossing 400k subscribers 👏 🙌 Always look forward to see your reviews.... 😊
Thank you Namit for saying that! I am so grateful for your support and for being part of the Raiti's Rides family!

low front end is an expensive nightmare on most streets and parking lots !
It does look a million times better than the mid 2000's version.
That divide isn't really necessary at all. It would've look better without it. I could understand that they wanted to make it different to stand out but in this case it just look dumb. I would hate being the passenger and trying to change the station or so.

awesome review, hyundai continues to amaze. great value!
I know exactly how you feel!
really looking for the Hybrid SEL, i think thats the one to get from what i can see. the SEL with the convenience package and possibly premium package gets you everything you need along with wireless AA/ACP. my guesstimate is that it runs in right about 26500 or 27000, which winds up being 30-32k after taxes and fees. its a bit on the pricey side, but if you want to get the best of both worlds thats probably the way to go.
Thanks for sharing that great input on this one.
@@RaitisRides Thanks for a great video on the two trim levels, its great to see the actual options that people might want. Also, the blank panel to the left of the instrument cluster is the drive mode selector for the N Variant, its a little sad that they left it as a blank space but i'm not sure what else could have been there.
Another great review...of a SEDAN! Like the joke about being plenty of fun you can have in the back seat ;) I guess that's why dealers offer those fabric stain-guard addons.
You know when the on throttle portion is in a neighborhood where the speed limit is probably 25 it's not a very quick car 😂
Sure its good looking, but it can’t compete with the Japanese reliability.
It will be interesting to see how it pans out in the long run.
You’re wrong
Idk about that one, Korean cars have gotten a lot better even in terms of reliability.
@@RaitisRides that is what it’s all about. People can’t make conclusions about a vehicle’s reliability until at least 5 years or 100k miles. Except for Land Rover, they have a different thing going.
