yesterday i dropped my iphone X and saw that kind of green line on my screen. I tried everything to fix it but nothing works. I was wondering which iphone would be the best for me to upgrade to. I dont have that much money but i'd still love to know if it makes sense to get the newest iphone or if theres better options. (I have large hands so i'd perfer not to get a small one)
Iam currently work on refurbished screen. Green line / white or sometimes pink / blue is caused by flexibel cable bonding. It may caused by pressed and you not aware, or drops or sometimes phone temperature can cause bonding conductive layer is gone. The lcd is actualy fine, but if the lcd is realy damage or broke it will give u black spot, its mean lcds is physical damage permanently and cannot be repair. phone X later and other flexibel OLED Lcd subtrate like samsung edge, huawei etc, is made on plastic subtrate. so it will hard to break if u drop it, because its flexible lcd subtrate. Even u can bend all side off lcds. Green line, white line. Or any line can be fix by rebonding the flex.
@@Dullaaaa Rebonding the flex is caused only by completing an entire factory reset of the phone which will restore all factory settings to default and start the flex over again fresh; removing those green and white lines from your screeen for good!

i actually have the green line on the most bottom part of the screen and it was well hidden because it was horizontal and not vertical, idk if it was caused by damage or is a glitch but I am gonna ask you if it will get worse over time?
It does get worse, at first for me it was a very light vertical green line to the right of my screen that was so meager I learned to ignore it, given a year or two and it’s unbearably bright, from barely noticeable dark green to an extremely bright neon green

Hi Brian - in most situations when I see this is means your lcd screen underneath the glass needs replacing. The glass and lcd are ‘glued’ together and it gets replaced as a whole assembly

I fit isn't a permanent line and doesn't get fixed by restarting ur phone then it might be an issue with the connectors that aren't perfectly lined up. (not an expert on this in the slightest so it would be best to get it checked out by a technician).

I just experienced this green line thing on my IphoneX that did pop out of nowhere. I knew I can’t live with it on my screen so I tried to push where the green line is placed with my thumb (really hard push) and thankfully it completely disappeared. Hope this helps.

The bottom of the oled is extremely sensitive. If the oled became a hit on the bottom than a line will come in the oled. But not often.

They sent me a box to ship it back to them. That was only a couple of days ago and I haven’t heard back.

This is a question I get a lot and they vary from city to city let alone country to country so it’s impossible for me to answer

High probability it is the screen that needs replacing. Unfortunately on oled screens which are on x onwards they tend to get worse.

The update would not have caused this. It’s definitely a hardware related issue

For me, the connector was loose under the screen so they fixed it. I had no chips on my phone either.

I have the exact same line as your phone in the video in the exact same position, I had the screen replaced 4 months ago by a 3rd party repairer but the screen wasn’t refurbished it was new and I also don’t have any chips on the screen
Looks like it’s lcd damage under the glass. Possibly even faulty the screen but unsure to say without seeing if

Yeah definitely a new replacement lcd + front glass assembly will fix this problem

I just experienced this green line thing on my IphoneX that did pop out of nowhere. I knew I can’t live with it on my screen so I tried to push where the green line is placed with my thumb (really hard push) and thankfully it completely disappeared. Hope this helps.

same happened with me I was frustrated and punched the screen and it was magically gone
yeah i just recently got a new screen on by myself and i have a single green pixel and that's it. idk what i did and if it is a software issue because i just noticed it.

I had an xs max the screen had green lines until it didn't turned on 5 months ago I got a71 galaxy today I got a brand new xs max for my birthday gift I am scared when I remember the lines on my old phone BTW the screen of my old phone was also changed
Honestly iphone is too damn expensive to act up like this. Samsung is best at this point. Their phones don't have these kind of issues expect only camera isn't like iphone lol

It’s a good guess to suggest that I think you may need to replace your phone screen. Get a technician or apple to check it out
