    Absolutely mesmerizing! This video captures the essence of Alaskan fishing adventure so beautifully.       This is the end of July. From what we were told Several Salmon runs usually happen that time of the year. Thanks for watching.

    this is my dream to catch these fish i have seen the big ones but never caught one i have a caught a big shark and a big tarpon

      Thanks! We really enjoyed our trip. I believe we were trolling for Salmon and bottom fishing for Halibut. But there were a few times, because of the current, it felt like we were trolling for halibut.

      We purchased them from our local hardware store here in Hawaii called City Mill. Maybe you could order the boots from them online but not sure if they do that.

      No idea. We were on a Charter Fishing trip. You could contact North Country Charters. Ask them which boat does Captain Ben use. They’re always helpful.

    Hello guys , what do they do with all that fish ? Do you take some of it home or do they keep it all for sale ?

      Hey! Happy New Year! Whatever we catch we keep! Homer has several fish processing companies that make it easy get all our fish packed, sealed and ready to ship (check in to our flight) home. We have a huge family so we split everything with everyone.

      It's illegal to sell sport caught fish. Especially halibut

    Never hand your rod to someone else, don’t even let them touch your line, if it’s a record book fish you’ll be disqualified

      @@harkinlucerojr.9580 it's 33' which is probably around average halibut charter in AK. Most bigger boats are slower and/or burn a ton of fuel, under 30's don't have the beam to be safe in rough water ( = cancelled trips.) and don't have a head, furnace, and other conveniences.
