Such a meticulous way Sir ☺️. The passion with which you want to help people speaks volumes about your amazing leadership skills. I recently gave my last attempt of UPSC and couldn’t qualify because of CSAT (since I had cross checked my GS Paper 1 score from multiple sources and I am scoring way above the IFS cut off ( >130). I was so disheartened that I can’t be a part of Steel Frame. But after watching your videos past 1 week my perspective has changed. I now realise there are multiple ways to bring true change in society and UPSC was just one such way, there are many others yet to be explored. Thanks 🙏 For inspiring me. 🙂

    3. put both feet down
    4. sit up on the bed
    5. stand up then only off the alarm
    6. splash some water on your face
    7. set proper sleep schedule

Sleeping at 10 pm is most difficult than waking up at 5.30 am when one kickstarts this journey.
Once this journey attain some momentum then sleeping at 10 pm and waking up at 5 or 5.30 am is a cakewalk.

I've always been a night owl all my life. When I was younger and single, there were times when I thought I would start waking up early, but was never able to build it into a habit. Now that I am married and have a 3 year old child, it is almost impossible (unless I am sleeping for only 5 hours every night). So advice to single/younger people - make the best use of your time.

I would like to add another option which worked for me is keeping my alarm (my mobile phone) on a table which is placed a little far from my bed. Even if you want to snoose it off, you need to walk all the way to the table. That would certainly break your sleep and help you wake up.

My Experience. It works if someone wants to wake up early then
1.One should join coaching center such as IELTS or Gym or something else. It will push you to wake up early.
    Or
    2. One should start meditation in the evening and in the morning 5 A.M. The evening meditation will decrease your sleep requirement. Do it for 6 days and see result.

Also have a light dinner, having evening shower & sleep not later than 9 pm so as to wake up by 4 am. Also a short meditation before sleep leading to sound sleep helps to get good 7 hrs sleep. Also a short power nap in the afternoon will fulfill body’s sleep requirement. What you do after wake up again sets your schedule rocking strong!

I agree with yiu that we need to break down the waking up early habit into manageable steps. But I think the first step is to get your bedtime right. If that isn’t set, Putting your feet down one by one and splashing water won’t work. Also, people who are sleeping with children or their spouses in the same room cannot let the alarm ring forever. It will wake up the others.

No need to wake up early to everyone, identify your nature, it's feels obvious and highly energetic ( own basic nature).
Talking about me, I enjoy my early morning because I'm highly connected with nature,
I enjoy everything about the morning like a fully detoxed tummy, high energy, and have ( cold air ), Pranayam and aasana, chirping of birds, and sunrise......
I set some rules or clarity about my own life that, this is my nature and I want to do a lifetime
So I never snooze the alarm, and I set the alarm with an energetic song in which I want to dance,
So that I wake up and dance like celebrating the new day of my life.

MOTIVATION & PURPOSE. if you don't figure out the purpose of waking up early.. why do you want to get up early?? what actually you are going to do after waking up and how important is that?? If you have the reasons clear in your mind.. it becomes very easy otherwise All these steps might not work.. so, l concluded that have your plans ready for the morning schedule and those actions must mean a lot to you for short term or long term.. otherwise, it's really difficult to get out of the blankets..

If you turn on the closed captions on RUclips, you will see the subtitles.

Try to take short power nap(s) in between your shift. It can be on a sofa or a desk or where ever possible. It'll reduce the day's stress enough to allow the body to compensate for lesser sleep time at night.
