The band is from Switzerland and they are one of my favourite bands. Eluveitie (the English pronounciation is El-Vay-Tee, the "u" is silent) was an inscription on an antique pottery found at an archeological site in Mantua (northern Italy). Mantua was an Etruskian city and the inscription possibly means, that this pot belonged or was crafted by a Helvetian person, because in Etruskian language "Eluveitie" means something like "The Helvetian". The old Latin name for Switzerland is "Confoederatio Helvetica".
The band was meant to be a studio project first (started in 2002) and as the founder Christian "Chrigel" Glanzmann is from Winterthur in Switzerland he chose the inscription as the name for the project. He didn't expect that his style of music (Celtic Folk mixed with Death Metal) would be received by the audience so well. After the first successful single releases he got requests for live performances and decided to ask the musicians who joined him for this project to form a "real" band. Since the beginning there were a lot of line-up changes though. But I think most of the band members are still Swiss and the only members of the current line-up that are not from Switzerland are Nicole Ansperger (fiddles, she is from Germany) and Michalina Malisz (hurdy gurdy, she is from Poland).
All in all there are nine members in the band 1 drummer, 1 bassist, 2 guitarists, 1 violinist, 1 hurdy gurdist, 1 whistle player (who also plays the bagpipe), 1 female vocalist (who also plays the celtic harp) and 1 male vocalist (founder of the band who plays also bagpipe, bodhran, mandola, tin whistle, low whistle and celtic harp).
They play Celtic Folk Metal which is a combination of melodic Death Metal and Celtic Folk. Their main theme is Celtic history and culture from the antiquity. The Celts lived all over Europe and were a pretty dominant culture until they were subdued by the Romans who almost eradicated all Celtic culture on the European continent. Eluveitie mostly sing of the celtic tribe of the Helvetii who lived in the area of todays Switzerland, southern Germany and western Austria and was the first tribe that came under pressure when the Roman Empire started its expansion north and when the Gallic Wars (around 60-54 B.C.) started.
The band had a lot of line-up changes during the years, the most impactful in 2016, when the previous female vocalist/hurdy gurdist Anna Murphy, drummer Merlin Sutter and guitarist Ivo Henzi left the band and founded "Cellar Darling" (check them out).
Some songs from Eluveitie you could react to are:
"King", "Tegernako" (live at Summerbreeze 2008), "Thousandfold", "A Rose for Epona", or "Quoth the Raven" (video recorded in the studio) with the previous line-up (pre 2016)
or "The Slumber", "Worship", "Deathwalker" (live at Wacken 2019), "Breathe", "Ambiramus", "Ategnatos" with the current line-up.
They have two pure acoustic folk albums too. Some of their acoustic songs I would recommend are "Omnos", "Brictom", "Desumiis Luge" (a curse of Helvetic women against some Roman leaders) from the album Evocation I: The Arcane Dominion
and "Lugus" (god of Trade and craftsmanship), "Caturix" (god of war), "Artio" (bear goddess) or "Epona" from the album Evocation II: Pantheon. For "Epona" the best choice is this video: ruclips.net/video/4GXoafWv86M/видео.html because someone added Gaulish and English lyrics to the official music video and at the end of this video there is a little explanation who Epona was.
On the two Evocation albums the songs are sung in Gaulish, the extinct (since 500 AD) language of the continental Celts that could be reconstructed by using inscripions found at archeological sites from all over Europe and parts (grammar, pronounciation) of languages that are of Celtic origin that are still spoken today, like Gaelic, Welsh or Breton.
And because you love the hurdy gurdy, check out the channel of Eluveities hurdy gurdist Michalina Malisz ruclips.net/video/QfP2qYlNBdw/видео.html . She has done a lot of playthroughs of Eluveitie songs on the hurdy gurdy and before she was asked to join the band she did a lot of Eluveitie covers, so PLEASE avoid these covers and playthroughs until you have reacted to the specific song because you would ruin future reactions. But you could check her "5riffs" series where she plays 5 riffs from famous bands (like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden) on the hurdy gurdy. She has done a great cover of "Martyr" by August burns Red too ruclips.net/video/Mvs39ZeQjq4/видео.html .
There is also a great interview with the two vocalists Christian "Chrigel" Glanzmann and Fabienne Erni which they did for the podcast of vocal coach Beth Roars: ruclips.net/video/y14pAyoAiIM/видео.html .
Fabienne Erni and Guitarist Jonas Wolf also have a side project called "Illumishade" thats worth checking out.

Yep, a great colab of these two bands, but only 4 members (the metal-part) of Eluveitie are involved, as the Folk part is already covered by German Pagan Folk band "Faun". In this song Chrigel sings his part of the vocals not in Gaulish but in Welsh.

I'm honestly surprised you didn't know about Eluveitie since your tastes align so closely to mine. Since their last album came out prior to your channel starting, I guess I just assumed you were already familiar with them. They are one of my favorite bands, and funny enough, I'm actually wearing one of their concert t-shirts right now (saw them with Korpiklaani back in 2019).
I think their most popular reaction is "Rebirth," which definitely shares DNA with this song. My favorite videos, both off their last album, are "Ategnatos" and "Ambiramus." The latter is more folksy/poppy, but it reminds me of one of my favorite moments at a concert, as the whole crowd was jumping up and down throughout almost the whole song. Very energetic and not reacted to nearly as much as some of their other songs. That said, all of their songs are great so you really can't go wrong.
FYI, someone else has probably mentioned it, but I think they have 9 members now.

Eluveitie (Helvetie), is one of the OGs of folk metal, Feuerschanwanz and Saltatio Mortis are kind of new.
They pretty much defined the sound in the early 2000s, together with Arkona.
The go-to reaction video is Rebirth ruclips.net/video/d-pSq4MJmy8/видео.html , or Ategnatos ruclips.net/video/BG6en2WyAsw/видео.html or King ruclips.net/video/-AawUSC6hGY/видео.html . Or Call of the Mountains, the ballad. Look also at Arkona, Goi, Rode Goi ruclips.net/video/A7fuuDc2hH0/видео.html and Mantra/ Shtorm ruclips.net/video/dhQD8thabaY/видео.html . I would recommend starting with older stuff like fire wind wisdom (ruclips.net/video/2DYKsQqQgSk/видео.html), or you could go to their most popular song call of the mountains, a little poppier but quite good.

They are very good but I very much prefer the brake-off band Cellar Darling. The former singer/Hurdy Gurdy player Anna Murphy .took the drummer and guitarist and formed a powerful trio. They call their music Prog-Folk-Metal. I've heard several Hurdy Gurdy players but Anna plays like no one else, like she thinks it's a Stratocaster. I'd recommend "Dance" or "Insomnia".

Because the opening chant is part of that song .
    Translation:
    We are strong
    We are brave
    We are free
    We are bold
A lot of their lyrics are in ancient gaullish.

Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend Jaimunji!! ...I want invite you to give us your opinion, like a music lover, reacting to who is considered the best singer of the world...His name is Dimash Kudaibergen, a young singer who handle 7 octaves and 3 semitones of vocal range (An alien)...He has been singing since he was 5 years (he is 28 now) and he can sing in more than 15 languages...But if you decide to react to Dimash for the first time, please don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did of the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one...You have to be prepared because you are likely to receive a flood of views, comments and new subscribers....And I have to give you a warning: Never react to The World Best videos, because they deceived him and treated him very badly.!...I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Dimash....Here you have the best high quality video of Dimash performing S.O.S. Live 2017.....ruclips.net/video/bDX3FhmyNac/видео.html
