the woodwind instrument here was a tin whistle- most of the instruments here (other than the guitars and drums) are more commonly seen in folk music... but one thing folk metal like this shows us is that all instruments can be metal instruments

This is folk metal with celtic influences from Switzerland . Other bands you can check: E-an-na, Nightwish , Epica An-theos

The singer, drummer, and guitarist of this band left to form a new band called Cellar Darling. They have a lot of great songs but I would start with the song and video Black Moon. The singer uses an instrument called a hurdy gurdy and she does a solo with it. It is a really cool instrument and awesome song.
