Salmon are tough fish too catch! It's like having a 20-30 pound bullet on your line! I have only catch Salmon from the bank, Now I have a boat! We shall see! Nice video!
Nice Vid! It's all about right time, right place! The ones ho caught maybe sitting over a channel the salmon like (Right place). The salmon favor the incoming tide to move (right time).
Al, Of course fish out of the salt are the best. However, I routinely eat salmon out of the Sacramento, caught in Red Bluff and the Barge Hole in Anderson. Those fish eat excellent, and do not fall apartments. We smoke the darker, less chrome fish and people beg me for the fish I smoke. John McHatton
Yea I would love to!!! Not sure when I can get back out there because of school and basketball but how bout u message me on instagram @primetime.sportfishing
Thank you! I will be dropping a bunch of stuff soon. Just trying to get my content out there first! Check my instagram out if ya want @primetime.sportfishing, I post updates on there!
You will learn that it takes a while to find and adjust to consistently hooking these fish. I say hooking because getting them in the boat is another battle all to it’s self. Over the past few years the salmon are getting harder and harder to consistently catch, but you have obviously done your research, you keep doing what your doing you’ll be learning how difficult it can be to land a big salmon by yourself. lol. Good luck bro.
Yes, I figured with any kind of fishing it takes lots of experience and fine tuning your techniques to learn what these fish like to bite. Thank you so much for the advise sir, I’ll be back out there soon!
Stick with the flatfish! Those fish them guys caught jigging look like they snagged them. When they fight them that long for 1/4 mile of river its usually snagged.
Bro congrats on your fishing adventure tanks for posting your videos
Thank you sir!
It was a scout mission and you learned a ton and are already planning to adjust. Still a successful trip braddah

This was last week!
Im buying a boat here soon where do you launch ? Thanks
I launched out of discovery park in Sacramento in this video. Was a decent launch ramp
You can used barbed hooks in the American. Just no trebles on weighted lures over 1oz
Ohhhhhh ok. Thank you!!
barbs are allowed only from ancil hoffman power lines and down river
👍 👍
They big this year from everything we’ve been seeing
Definitely!! Saw some monsters!
Nice video. Would you rather catch ocean salmon or river salmon. I hear that the Sac river fish do not taste very good. What your opinion?
Ocean 100%! The quality in the meat is the best! As they start running up river into freshwater they lose the pink and the meat kinda falls apart.

It's better to put the slit going up you the meat close to the bottom hook the lure will swim better. Cool
