On point Adam with the fifth element, it sounded great on DVD and I just had a breakdown and purchase the 4K Blu-ray. Unbelievable the sound from the very beginning.
Cool ranking Adam bro and I seen some of those movies but not all of them though just a few of them I haven’t seen but most definitely most seen all of them though and I got these movies on 4K too bro
Here’s a few of my favorite Dolby Atmos audio tracks from Sony! No particular order Heavy Metal (1981) From Here To Eternity (1953) (part of Columbia Classics Volume 3) Lawrence of Arabia (1962 (part of Columbia Classics Volume 1) Black Hawk Down The Magnificent Seven (2016) The Mask of Zorro Starship Troopers The Bridge on the River Kwai Bullet Train Air Force One
First, I really enjoyed your video. It is helpful. I have all but one, but because they are old I already have the DVD or Blu Ray. I have Fifth element on SuperBit DVD which was fantastic for it's day and is still just as good as Blu-ray or 4K! The 5.1 on that really doesn't improve much. Can use my to of the line Sony receiver Dolby Surround to upgrade the 5.1 to all 7.2.4 channels and it's great. To see it decode in Atmos still has a mental edge over just upgrading sound. To re-buy all of the older ones just for the Atmos is a difficult decision. But the box set of Resident Evil, you may have sold me on that one! Especially since I have half DVD, half Blu-ray and enjoy getting them out almost annually to re-watch.
Hello everyone, how do I take movies with Dolby Atmos with more than 7 channels? Most blue-ray is 5.1 or 7.1, the same with what you can watch digital. I have a denon x3800 and I can't find content with more than 7 channels? thank you.
Here is my list of Sony 4K UHD blu-ray releases that didn't make your list: 1) 2012 2) BABY DRIVER 3) BLOOD SHOT 4) BRIGHTBURN 5) BULLET TRAIN 6) DARK TOWER 7) MORBIUS 8) THE PASSENGERS 9) UNCHARTED 10) WHIPLASH
MovieGuy365, please tell me that you at least have a 5.1.4 home theater system to back up what you're saying regarding atmos tracks. As most movie reviewers have sound bars and not a full system. If so, could you please do a video of your home theater system for us as I don't think I've ever seen it? Thank you
I know you said it in your intro, but Godzilla should not make it on any list...for anything for any reason. As a long time Godzilla fan, this film is a dumpster fire.
Sorry. Fully disagree. I love the SONY version , FAR more enjoyable than the recent "VS " Kong crap. Remember this was about the sound here - and this is REFERENCE QUALITY. Sad for the loss of the old SDDS . Far better than this ATMOS stuff . Don't get me wrong ATMOS is good for the home - but GODZILLA / MARY SHELLEY'S FRANKENSTEIN in SDDS at the Cinema - WOW. those were the days my friend.
The fifth element: amzn.to/3KWtE73

No noise complaints from neighbors, eh?
@joebaz4844 I am INSULATING my room for that very reason! It's half done already!
I remember Jumanji having GREAT surround sound years ago, before I went to Atmos!
The Mask of Zorro is another Sony release with a surprisingly enjoyable Atmos track
Once again this proves Sony is the BEST in the 4K game. Their PQ and Audio is often superior to everyone else. Thanks for the list Adam!
Blade runner 2049, Ghostbusters afterlife really impressed me visually and audio wise!!
On point Adam with the fifth element, it sounded great on DVD and I just had a breakdown and purchase the 4K Blu-ray. Unbelievable the sound from the very beginning.
Once again, a another great top 10 collection that has made me think about the 4k you mention that are not in my library.
Ghostbusters Afterlife is overlooked, glad you mentioned it!
Thank you Adam.
Blade Runner 2049 is by far the best audio mix I've ever heard. the clarity, insane LFE and surround effects are top notch
Blade Runner 2049 is a Warner product 🧐, M, not Sony/Columbia. Oops🫤
Well in this case, as I say in the video, it counts as 2049 was distributed by Sony in the UK.
Thanx! I have the 4K disc but I did not like the plot very much. I found it depressing...
IN THE LINE OF FIRE - SURPRISINGLY GOOD ATMOS
I wish you could do dolby atmos ranking by decade
You're going to feel it in the morning!!!
Quit talking about ME...
😆 🤣 😂
Very surprised you didn't mention 2012 or black hawk down
Great list Adam! I have all ten plus the honorable mentions.
hi-fi haven, what R U using for a disc player?
@ Sony UBP-X800M2. Bought it in 2019.
Agreed, the Atmos on Jumanji:WTTJ is so much better than the DTS:X on the sequel.
had no idea about Hancock. might have to check out. thanks.
Cool ranking Adam bro and I seen some of those movies but not all of them though just a few of them I haven’t seen but most definitely most seen all of them though and I got these movies on 4K too bro
Thanks for the info
Thx for the ranking list :)
Monster Hunter is a "tour de force" for your audio system, it's an experience not to be missed.
I got that movie on 4K and I enjoy it too and I remember seeing it on Christmas Day and the day I also got my PS5 for Christmas too
I fell to sleep about halfway in.
Here’s a few of my favorite Dolby Atmos audio tracks from Sony!
No particular order
Heavy Metal (1981)
From Here To Eternity (1953) (part of Columbia Classics Volume 3)
Lawrence of Arabia (1962 (part of Columbia Classics Volume 1)
Black Hawk Down
The Magnificent Seven (2016)
The Mask of Zorro
Starship Troopers
The Bridge on the River Kwai
Bullet Train
Air Force One
Some of these titles like "River Kwai" are obviously REMASTERED.I wish they would remaster old NHL/NFL games, esp. the VIDEO portion!

Thanks for list, Hancock was indeed a great surprise! Monster Hunter great, but the 3D my favorite is only 5.1.
Sony has the best Atmos upmixes I have heard. Guns Of Navarone is tremendous

Great list:)
I have a few of these and finally got stands for my rears to get them at the correct height. Dune sounded much more natural.
Will try a few of these.
Lawrence of Arabia.....Lawrence of Arabia Dolby Atmos soundtrack, and what a amazing presentation it is.............❤❤ And The Woman King
Good picks!
Dunkirk sounds incredible on Atmos
Great video :)
and Yes! the resident evil collection has incredible atmos.
Never thought I'd see Hancock be #1 at anything. 😅
These will probably be rereleased as steelbooks with Dolby Vision
Here is my list of Sony 4K UHD blu-ray releases that didn't make your list:
1) 2012
2) BABY DRIVER
3) BLOOD SHOT
4) BRIGHTBURN
5) BULLET TRAIN
6) DARK TOWER
7) MORBIUS
8) THE PASSENGERS
9) UNCHARTED
10) WHIPLASH
Yes, the Atmos track on 2012 is a beast!
Missed Spider Man, Into the Spider Verse
#5 "Godzilla sh-"
What happened there? 😂
It was a glitch in the audio so I just cut it out.
@@MovieGuy365 thought maybe you were being possessed for a minute 😂
Oh come on it’s not that bad. 😂
No Underworld?
MovieGuy365, please tell me that you at least have a 5.1.4 home theater system to back up what you're saying regarding atmos tracks. As most movie reviewers have sound bars and not a full system. I list my equipment in the vid description of every video.
1 movie always missing from any top 10 is the best Johnny Depp has ever done - Dead Man.
i thought black hawk down was very intense in atmos… also sony
Resident evil collection is jumping
Chips 666 yeah
Maybe it's time take Hancock outta plastic wrap.
Don't forget "Ready Player One". Fantastic Dolby Atmos!!!
Not a Sony title.
Not a SONY release - so irrelevant post.
You are correct. I did not look at the maker so my apologies.
I know you said it in your intro, but Godzilla should not make it on any list...for anything for any reason. As a long time Godzilla fan, this film is a dumpster fire.

Wasn't a HANCOCK Fan - I personally lost all respect for SMITH after OSCARS.
We all make mistakes - past films should not be held responsible. Get over it.
It's fine, Hancock was pre slap.
