One of my favorite brands and watches of 2022. Was great to see these Chronomasters and variations there, and their other watches, at the W&W Wind-Up in SF. Proof modern mechanical chronographs can be pretty compact. I like Nivada Grenchen state true to it's historic form. Would like to add one of these some day.
Thanks Mark. Enjoy mine (manual wind version), quite versatile and useful. "The smartwatch of the 1960s." Nice one-to-one remake of the original. It's also a strap monster, wear it with manual-wind different types, bracelet is top quality as well. PR of 62 hours for the auto is impressive. 👍⌚
I own this exact watch and it is indeed a beauty. On the other hand Nivada is a bit of a disaster when it comes to customer service. My other watch of theirs -- the Antarctic Spider -- had some mechanical problems so I returned it to them 2 1/2 months ago, but it still hasn't been fixed and my last several e-mails have gone unanswered. It's one thing to sell a watch, but it's an entirely different thing to stand behind the product and treat your customers with respect. By that measure, Nivada has failed me.
Nice watch, but I just don't understand why watch makers dance around the 40mm diameter, it's been proven over the years, has stood the test of time, 40mm is just a perfect size for the vast majority of people. No I wont buy it.
All of those features packed into a compact case makes this such a great daily.

Bummer to see but thanks for sharing your experience
Enough reason to steer me clear. Thanks
I had a similar customer support adventure after the small chrono hand fell off!!!
I love this, do they have a white lume version?
