Really enjoyed your story this morning I would like to know a lot more about the Russians and the outlying area of those people a lot of things we don’t really know the truth about and you would know you were there. You learned a lot yourself so maybe you could do some stories on how you found these people and in other countries to be and maybe we all need to understand about that society there in Europe thank you for your content this morning though it was great I loved it !

Just for the record T/Cav. I noticed this with Canadian linemen from New Brunswick (my mom is from PEI so I Disowned her for being Canadian. She can Stay because she’s 95 now and she behaves) I noticed this particular group of Canadian linemen helping us in Maryland or wherever the hell we were I’ve done a hundred storm’s or more and I can’t recall. These guys were 6’5” 225 pound boys. All ages too but mainly over 35. I’ve worked with many Canadians over the years and I was trying to crack the mystery of why there were 50-75 guys who were all giants. This power company they worked for only hired Goons and if there were regular size guys in the ranks they were not on the overtime/travel/bennies list. Some nations only put their goon squad guys out there for the world to see. It’s a major PR campaign and makes folk’s scratch their heads. Took me a bit to figure it all out but that’s what’s going on. I caught on because the Boston Police years ago had a goon squad of all monster Irish Catholic guys. That’s what we called them too. They were well known. If they showed up you ran. Happy fun time throwing bottles etc was officially over. You recognized their vehicles. They always had 2 motorcycles 4 cruisers and 2 Meat Wagon criminal transport vehicles all in a parade formation. In overhead linework where the big $$ is is in high line work. The biggest men I’ve ever met work in that area of the job. One man (Jim Cornaxle) was so scary. The first time I saw him he came out of the piss test clinic as I was heading in. I saw him with no front teeth. He was meaner than Jaws from James Bond Moonraker etc. I walked waaaay around him. Then I looked back and my friend was hugging him. He told me he knocked out all his teeth with a 9 ton hoist handle he forgot to lock out. He kept working with top and bottom front teeth shattered and lips smashed. It would have killed me or you. Everyone was at the bar in Vermont one winter night. A lineman took a head count and asked “Oh ohhh.. Where’s Jim Cornaxle..?” He went up to the helicopter pilots and asked if Jimmy was dropped off elsewhere. Then the realization kicked in. They left a man up on the mountain in knee deep snow 5 miles away. The bar door opened and Jim walked in covered in snow and tools he carried out on foot. He walked up and just said “You guys forgot me up on the mountain” They literally thought he was going to crush them to death.

Thanks for the inspiration. I'm old now, but in my early 30's I decided to change my life. I had just gotten into recovery and somehow landed an amazing job all in the same day (after losing literally everything). And I wanted to keep the momentum. That same week I started waking up at 4am, which is a beautiful time to be awake, when all the world is sleeping, and picking up the weights.
Everyday. I never missed a day. Seven days a week. It wasn't easy at first, but I loved the suffering. Everyday 4am I would wake up, pray, make a protein shake, and hit the bench, and then onto cardio, and then shower, then work, and then back to the weights again. Everyday.
I kept at it even when I didn't want to, especially when I didn't feel like it. Getting off of that bench in the mornings felt great. The best way to start the day. I was developing good habits, and I learned that my mind wanted me to quit way before my body needed to quit. For years I never missed a day, and the transformation both physically and mentally was amazing.
I am in my fifties now, and I still wake up at 4am, and I still love it. I do not hit the weights as much, but I take care of myself and I am healthier than most older men. Anyway I told you this story to say this: You can do it, but it won't be easy at first. It will suck at first. If you want to change your life you have the power to do it. You are smart enough and you really can do it.
Sorry for the long post. I have been watching this channel since day 1 and just had to share my story. If I can do it anyone can do it. I was a real POS for a long time. If I can do it you can definitely do it.

I have nothing to look forward to and the only reson i can write this is because got some adderall. I was close to comit suicide last summer i had not planed to do it. The suicidal thoughts was something i was used to but that time some thing was different . I took a fist full of xanax like i have done many times before and waited for it to start working. Ca 15 min later i could not understand why i haven’t killed my self earlier and felt exided and uforic. I was in a hurry looking for a rope and i had to learn How to make a noose. When i stood on the table ready to tighten the noose when the phone start to vibrate and i had to pick it up i was irritated and impatient . My girl saved me and i started to feel ashamed and afraid so i started running away and took the car and drove home to her. I don’t belong anywhere and i want a ending . Exactly word by word how i felt Shawn Ryan described How he felt on his podcast and that gave me hope.

What's the culture differences between the legion and regular French military? I did a NATO exercise in Poland up near Russian Kaliningrad. Near every NATO partner was competent and cool as fuck. The French though, they were not fans of us Americans. At least my limited exposure, we'd be hanging with the Poles, Brits, Norwegians, etc and those French fellas wanted nothing to do with anyone other than their own. We did our joint live fire and that was it

Tough times don’t last but tough people do. What does a man do when practically everyone he knew or checks up on him thinks he’s better off dead because something about him they just don’t like? What does a man do when he’s tried countless things and failed in all because he’s wired like a robot put together by a schizoid MIT grad that has a sedistic side? What does a man do when his government sais join us or you’re a dead man and they are corrupt as hell and though you can’t at this stage do much to help yourself, yet or maybe never, but you can mitigate in a meaningful way the world’s troubles in many categories? I saw your interview and even that site’s admin thinks I should drop dead and what do they know about me? NOW!? I derived inspiration from your two hour talk. The only French I know is Pau aujad qui and fua pas so I better stop now while I’m treading water. Thanks, Dan Usiskin.

Yes.....reset. reflect. Get up before your command. Good job. Die to old self, reinvent what you were always supposed to be. Last and only chance. Bro, we have VERY similar backgrounds and life. Our journey was parallel. Imma have to talk to you, hell, you can come to my house. Illinois baby. 😅🤣 for real. Alot of things to do here....people hate on it. Reflection of their dark night....but hey, brother, hit me up.
