**This video is trash from minute 1:32. I've warned**
Playing some celtic tunes on my Low Whistle with my brother, who obviously can't play the guitar very well (couldn't at the time).
I admit this video is just junk, i think the only good part is the first tune, but then we try to play too fast and ruin it. SORRY: Private whistle lessons are NO LONGER AVAILABLE (for now).
They've both improved so much in their newer videos. It's great to hear the old stuff though.

He is playing his own unique version of 'King of the Fairies'. You will have to reproduce the tune by ear as I doubt whether the music is written down in any form. He is using piper fingering on a low D whistle. It looks to be an 'Overton' like instrument (?) and it has a lovely mellow tone to it. The song is not easy to play as it seems to be in an unusual key. I think key of A (F,G,C sharpened) Hope this helps a little.

The King Of Fairies... Fantastic... Check the version played by Alan Stivell or Waylander... Absolutely fantastic.. Everyone play this tune in a different way, so don't expect to hear the same thing... anyway this guy is playin it really well!

I've just started playing tin whistle and i just LOVE the sound of the low whistle but havent been able to find any in any store here in sweden. :-S

HI! FROM SPAIN ...i play whistle ..susato and clarks and now i bougth a low but is more dificult. i can know types of low whistles ...can you reply that models are on lows a,b,c,d,f?
What's the first tune called? I'm playing it on my Clark penny whistle but I don't the name! And I'm supposed to play during an internation festival so please tell me somebody! Thanks.
it's actually not too hard. you can get a small, high-pitched whistle for around 12 bucks in music stores, and they'll have instructional booklets with them.
Learning to play them WELL is the hard part. :/
And man, I wish I could play like this! I'd loooove to have a low whistle! they sound so much better then the basic beginner's high-pitched whistle!
