Been following your updates! These videos are fantastic and will help me swap my ls into my Tacoma X-runner! Can't wait to see what you come up with, with the new mounts, would be interested in a set
It’s coming along nicely. Tough to video because it is slow going. I plan on a longer comprehensive video with a lot of detail. In the meantime, contact Metaltek Manufacturing and talk to Jaime. He has all the information at hand to make you a set of mounts, last time I talked to him, he said about $130… that’s a steal…I have way more than that in the set I have.
That is the plan. The engine is basically stock with the exception of a performance camshaft. So, rear wheel hp should be around 275ish. The supercharged 2.7 had about 225 hp to the tire. Obviously the LS has more torque, but the truck is not going to be going down the 1/4 mile (?), no 4000rpm launches etc. In the future, if parts begin to break, then that will be addressed. However, there have been plenty of Lexus V8 swaps and turboed motors that have survived. I don't see any issues. Of course, time will tell.

@@BrandonKhao-Onawesome! Please let me know how they fit. I’ve only had this truck to use for fitment. Good luck!
Are you keeping the stock 3rd member?
