Just Thought I would say Hi.

Have a great day. Cheers

Yay! Fantastic bag! You made something that seems so complicated so simple to do! Thank you VERY MUCH! I’ve wanted to learn how to do this for years and the secret is the binding on the top. Well done!
Glad it was helpful!
Many things are simplier(? Is that a word?) then we think if we dont overthink them. And the first one is the hardest then it gets easier the more you make I have made many totebags so now it kinda goes without thinking.

I’m so glad that this popped up in my recommended videos! I love this tote! picked up some extra t-shirts from my extended camping trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this summer. I’m going to use the t-shirts for the top fabric and use cork or either blue or black denim for the bottom of each.I will use the dividing pocket tip for other bags as well!
Thank you, Debbie! Your tutorials are always fabulous!
Stay well!

Really struggled with the binding around the top of the bag and the way the handles sit but super pleased that I have created a bag with a zipper pocket for the first time. Thank you

Thank u.
Debbie I love your work 🥰
Love this and the fabrics you have used, so crisp and well co-ordinated. I think the second bag with the self bias finish is better than the first. I really enjoy your videos, very clear and straightforward. I am now subscribing.
Hi Debbie, this is a very cute bag. However, I’m going to make another one, its your big bag. I’ve lost count how many of them I have made. I love them, so do my customers.
I hope you and your family has done well through our strange country ordeal.
We have stayed busy in the yard. Fixing to cut down about a dozen trees. Oh we have a lot of them in our back yard. I don’t want anyone to think bad of getting rid of them. Most of them are so close to the house. We’re afraid a big limb will take out half of the house. Anyway you can tell I haven’t been doing a lot of sewing lately. But going to Las Vegas NV in Oct. so I will get my bags all made before then.
Debbie I will save this bag for a later date. But definitely will make it. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day.
Cheryl
And you Cheryl, thanks
Love your tutorials, love the bag♥️ thank you
Just a suggestion...I use shirting interfacing for my for my handles and pockets.
You get a crisp but flexible handle and it doesn't wear thin with time.
Thanks Debbie what a beautiful tote bag. The fabrics you use are all very beautiful! I will make this some day. Currently just busy making fabric face masks for family & friends. I wish you had a video for us to sew along fabric face masks too. I know there are tons of people who made a video but your teaching style and instructions are very east to follow & detailed. Please do consider my request.
Hi, I really enjoyed your video and will be following it when I try to make one for myself. thanks
The bag is gorgeous!
This would be a good bag for me to tote my English Paper Piecing gear around in. With the pocket dividing the inside I could put my round rotary cutting mat and rulers and templates on one side, spare template papers in the zip section and the other side could hold my pencil case type bag with needles, thimble, thread etc. I like the idea that my cutting mat and rulers won't be flopping around in the bag so much. Thank you, I really enjoyed the tutorial. Love your videos.
Obrigada por mais um lindo tutorial.
Thanks!
I have been watching your videos an subscribe 2 your channel,i really love them it has helped me in many ways as a new beginner, were as i started 2 make bags on my own,i also took a class..You are a wonderful teacher..Thank u..May God continue 2 bless u..Trinidad An Tobago

Your videos are so easy to follow
Thanks for a wonderful tote with inside pocket divider!
Love love love it can’t wait to make one 🥰
Lovely little bag. I saw some one using paper at the beginning of their sewing. They put it under the end of the material, so it covered the feed dogs and sewed, no snagging. At the end of sewing they just ripped of the paper. It’s a great and cheap way of avoiding snags. It worked better than scraps of material for leaders.
Such a lovely bag.
Loved
Thank you for another great tutorial. Sue

This would make an excellent gift, but it also would make a nice summer tote too. Many thanks.

Great project, so pleased to have found your channel, apart from all your other accomplishments I remember you on Ideal World demonstrating sewing machines amongst other things.
